Wine at that time was something sweet. Modern day Juice. People only use verses that suit them without understanding them well. This wine was farmented grapes juice. Not this alcohol that makes people drunk, sick ,and leads to committing sin. The Bible also suggests that wine is good for your stomach by Paul. Its proven, grapes are good for stomach and they help prevent indigestion. Liquor ain't good for people health-wise and as a Christian, NO TO ALCOHOL.

In Bible days wine was essentially grape juice? We can drink juice but not get drunk which means we have to avoid wine of nowadays.

I have no problem with a glass of whisky at the end of the day. My friend can't even be in the same room as a bottle of alcohol because of how it destroyed his father. I won't drink in front of him. There is no benefit in making my Christian brother sin because of my freedom.

The problem is every alcoholic I have talked to says they thought they could drink a couple drinks and stop. God said don't get drunk but I wouldn't do it in public because it's a bad witness. Jesus told Paul to drink wine for his stomach sake. According to Islam alcohol is forbidden Also in the bible it's says that the prophet of God prophet lot got too drunk and thus ended up having sex with his daughter so we know that alcohol can lead fathers to have sex with their daughters even though we Muslims don't believe that prophets of god are capable of such sins but yea Christians drink Muslims shouldn't for those reasons and also god said we should not drink it
