Hi I'm Sean a shipwatcher and railifanner. This channel is about Ships and trains around the great lakes region.
Yard action around South Buffalo's D Yard.
The evening started out with two SBRR EMD SW1500's leading the South Buffalo Railway's Buffalo Creek Transfer back to the D Yard/Seneca Yard where they would work the yard and call it a night. After the SBRR got into the Yard CN L530 (return 531) got ready to tie onto their train with a newly rebuilt SD75I now SD75IACC #8302. After they did that they were already finished working the yard as they were there for an hour already ding work and were ready to head through Buffalo back to Canada on a beautiful day, (10/22/2024).

On 8/29/2024 I caught NS 315 with a BNSF GE C44-9W #1105 in h1 paint leading which was a rare even on the line, Later that night around 22:33 NS 46A a unit Grain passed with 3 Dash 9s leading and one ES44C4. The next day, 8/30/2024 NS 14M Would have two rebuilt AC44C6Ms leading a NS EMD SD40-2 #6082, Not long After NS 315 would get a clear Signal At Tift a couple miles away in Buffalo NY and wo...

Great Lakes vessel Captains are the best in the world. Salt water skippers would soil themselves if they had to do what the CLARKE just did...pilot up a narrow river without tugs.
I live just North of the city and it always amazia's me to see them pilot the ships down the Buffalo river , big ship , small river . Very nice video coming into the river.
