I am a long time fan of Sara's. I love her voice and the unique arrangements she puts together. Unfortunately what ever was used to capture this (phone) results in very poor quality audio. Production is very tinny with no depth which denotes a sound which loses much of her melodic richness.-Ray

Complaining that she doesn't write her own music is like complaining that a concert pianist/violinist merely plays what Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Litze, etc wrote. But her gift is to interpret every song and make it hers -- even Elton John was amazed at her interpretation of one of his songs.
But she does write her own music.
I don't know who made that complaint, but whoever it was knows nothing about Sara.... just because this is a cover doesn't mean she doesn't write her own music...almost everything she does are songs she's written and are fantastic songs!!! Hell she even wrote a whole Broadway musical which was good enough to get Tony nominations. She writes extremely intelligent lyrics and great music
Lol, she was recently inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.and was nominated for a Tony for her score for Waitress. So whoever made such an ignorant comment made a very foolish assumption that just because she also does brilliant covers she cannot also write brilliant original music.
