One thing that just hit me that I really wish we could do, and we can do it with our larger ship O2 Tanks, is refill or own SUIT O2 tanks!!! There should/could be a "Suit Station" that you put your suit into and it tops everything off over time! Battery, O2, cleans the CO filter etc. Maybe it even repairs the suit, slowly over time. IDK, something like that. Anyways, looking forward to seasons 2! As always, Shalom!

Well that was a really GREAT conversation (along with the other 2 videos) with Dan! It's really cool to hear you pick his brain as a Dev and as a person. It' not something that we players get to hear very often from our standpoint. Awesome facts, opinions and memories that you both shared with us. Update: I just purchased 1.2 Million worth of products at VNCA and flew them to SVIR (around Saturn) and pretty much doubled my money after expenses. It took me almost 2 IRL DAYS of game time to get there, but yeah! That's how you make REALL money! Plus, the Cargo Pods are SUPER resilient to meteor strikes, so I didn't have a single hull breach the entire time!

Tip: bring a million dollar with you to Venus. Lots to buy at the Mall.

If VORB is counter intuitive, you can get ahead of it and slow down into docking and it is very similar to other docking. It orbits at that speed to avoid getting sucked into Venus's gravity well.

Since you do so much work from the PDA, you may not know the social menu is an 'interaction' menu. You can install conduit by clicking on the conduit and choosing "install". Likewise, you can click on a person for socializing or combat. The social menu goes away (as all of them do) when you move a certain distance from the target. It will also vanish if you select a new target.

You pay for time at dock (x ship size, I think). Electricity is cheap at port compared to that dock fee

It definitely worth playing. However it makes me ragequit regularly :)

It's a great game!!. Certainly the learning curve is complicated and even more so playing alone, but it is very engaging once you master it :D

Get to the venus aerostats..buy legal status on k leg..some good end points for the series? A few of the other stations are fleshed out too would be cool to see them all ventured too in a playthrough, almost nothing exists outside kleg and vorb content wise on utube.

i mean its not exactly a season 2. u havent completed the full game even once

i need a multiplayer version i think lol

as far as jump cutting goes less then a min no need to cut. more then a min of no explaining or relevant info is a jump cut point. ship remodeling as an example. if you have 5 min of uninstalling and reinstalling you can safely jump cut that. now in that 5 min you are explaining design ideas or reasoning maybe no cut. you also have mic that sounds like a waterfall outside, its not too bad and i'm sure 100 other people has said something but on the 1/1,000,000 chance they didnt. ive tried to watch a few people play this game cause i love it but cant stand many of them.

I would recommend CDDA too im not playing it right now but i liked it alot when i did, Then War Thunder but just cause i use sim controls and vr, then dwarf fortress!

That helmet bug is quite annoying. My character died because I did not notice he had one on and fast-forwarded time. Have enjoyed this series and learned quite a bit. Looking forward to season 2.

It's kind of funny, I watched this video when it first came out, I remembered you said you never found a tow brace on a derelict. Last night I was playing and I found one, I dropped everything to make sure I got it. Now I have to rewatch to make sure I know what I'm doing when I try to install it.

you have a time skip button, where you can skip multiple hours in one klick.. so you dont have 6 hours to wait while your character is sleeping

I saw some gameplay, couldn't figure out why it was so colorful compared to my own. Turns out by guy was colorblind or something

You complain about your ship being too slow, yet you have set your throttle to 20%. Push it up to 40 or 50 and it WILL go faster. You can lower it again during docking manouvres. When your ship grows more massive, you'll have to raise it further or add thrusters.

😂 you look in every bin but the floor bins. F8 will show different views of the ship and 9 will show highlights of stuff immediately surrounding you. Personally I don't mess around and just take everything. Great video thanks, enjoyed it!

I believe it’s a wordplay from Astronauts to Ostranauts. Also the purge knob is referring to (RGH)Rough Purge, (TRB)Turbo Purge. Given it’s real life counterpart(closest commercial operation) I can relate to was wafer foundries using similar vacuum technology to allow them to “cook” chips, one of the process usually involve rough purging to rough vacuum first, then turbo purging to further push for ultra high vacuum to evacuate to chamber for plasma to operate properly with lesser chance of it interacting with things it should to interact with(e.g air).

not a fan of the music. Doesn't feel appropriate for the chilled nature of the series and way too loud after how quiet your voice is.

Instead of breaching the wall, I will build the wall from the outside, and then install a vent in the wall at the station. If you open the airlock to the station and then open the vent, you will fill the new space with atmo without risk of blowing out another wall, which happens.
