McLaren owner didn't use launch control and asleep at the wheel. The 570S would easily win that race from start to finish. I own both a McLaren 12C and C8 before anyone starts crying. My 12C will run 10.5 to 10.7 all day at the track. Best my C8 has done at the exact same track is 11.7. On a roll race its not even close. Also, before anyone claims C8 is more reliable, just go join a C8 group and see how many blown engines and transmissions the C8s have been through, including the recent transmission TSB this week for the C8.

Can’t tell but almost looks like the McLaren either cut power, or got off the throttle, a bit at launch. Or he didn’t release the clutch quickly enough.

The C8 is capable of 2.7 second 0-60 times. its extremely quick for only 495 bhp.

I have a McLaren 570s and I smoke c8 and even the z06. The McLaren owner didn’t accelerate when he realized he jumped the start. Watch any video of 570s vs c8 on yt the McLaren always wins.
