He was nickname like that because at the start of his career people says he spend more time in the air than on the track with all his accidents. But Enzo knew better. Legendary man, legendary driver.
I honestly think I saw Jimmy driving at his absolute best . On the Friday afternoon in Feb68. Jim took out the Tasman Version of the Lotus 49 at Sandown Park in Melbourne, Australia & for about 40 minutes just went for it . I was alone watching him… He was alone on the track & lap after lap was sliding it around the kink at the beginning of the main Straight . That blew my young mind & the echoes of his exhaust off the billboards was utterly amazing I was utterly escatic. He was killed 6 weeks later but that is not the reason I remember that day. The man was a real gentleman, he was so easy to approach on those days.
Nice video!, Gilles is my favourite driver, he did it for the love of racing. Gilles is a Canadian legend, I remember speaking to an older coworker of mine about motorsport. He was an Indycar fan and not too familiar with F1. I had asked him if he knew who Gilles Villeneuve was and he knew right away, even knew about Jacques. I Got to bike around circuit Gilles Villeneuve 2 years ago as well which was a cool experience, I wanna visit the museum they got for him in Berthierville.
RIP Jim Clark (James Clark Jr, 4 March 1936 - 7 April 1968) 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 2 Times FIA Formula 1 World Champion (1963 & 1965) with Lotus F1 Team 🏆🏆🏴🏴
F1 LEGEND ❤ AMAZING ❤
Horrible music too loud (comparing to voice leve)l This video should be uploaded again with a new mix. Unbearable. Didn’t see it to the end
In fact, a brave heart!❤❤
I always thought he’d get killed. Took way too many chances.
It's strange that he got the nickname "aviator." Pushing everything to the limit is the opposite of what pilots do.

Please readjust the volume of the piano! Too loud!

Interesting retelling of an event for those of us that have followed motor sport for many years, but why that dreadful distracting background music?
It was the time, where racing drivers were fearles heros...
Danke! 🖖🇦🇹
❤❤❤❤
Merci 🎉🎉❤👏👏!!!!!
appart from the too loud music, it's a brilliant video, giving justice to this extraterrestrial driver. my personal hero.

Great job!
this video made me cry
Jim and senna had god gifted driving skill.....

Yo lo ví..
Simon Pagenaud at Mid-Ohio was the scariest in 5 years for me

Love your work bro😊
imagine surviving all that and than just chucking the steering wheel bc ur mad
That 'someone' has still to appear. Jimmy is still the best. By a bit.
He is speaking facts😂
If Senna touch your head on podium that you are good 😂
