Can't Help Falling in Love - Elvis Presley Cover (Male Cover)
My (quick and not-so-perfect) cover of:
Can't Help Falling in Love- Elvis Presley
Man, songwriting doesn't get better than this. Melody based on 'Plasir d'amour'. Such a haunt.
Jena Irene's idol performance is something you should hear. I can't get like her!

Mountain Top ( I am whole ) - Original

This is a worship song that I wrote and was inspired by a dream I had not long ago. In the dream I was on the ground, in the middle of an argument, and suddenly I flew straight up. When I broke through the clouds, all I could see were mountains stretching forever. I was high above them. It was extremely beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, I could barely keep it together. I also knew at that momen...
Earth Song - Frank Ticheli

Sing, Be, Live, See This dark stormy hour, the wind, it stirs. The scorched Earth cries out in vain. Oh war and power, you blind and blur. The torn heart cries out in pain. But music and singing have been my refuge, and music and singing shall be my light. A light of song, shining strong. Hallelujah! Hallelujah. Through darkness and pain and strife, I'll sing, I'll be, live, see. Peace. Credits...

I had the hardest time locating this song because what pops up when one puts "Earth Song" into the browser, is Michael Jackson's! My son''s concert chorus sang it a couple years ago and it moved me to tears. They sang it again yesterday at HS graduation, with amazing acoustics in LJVM Coliseum. This will be one of the songs being played at my final Farewell service.
2021- who's here?😣❤
Joining you here!
Your voice is beautiful. Please sing it all...
This song sounds beautiful 😍
Beautiful song
We sang this song at our choral festival.
This made me cry. Reminds me of days practicing Plaisir D'amour in music school and having strong feelings I didn't quite yet know how to articulate.
What a beautiful song, such amazing words. Gives me chills!
My A’Capella class sang this in my sophomore year in high school
so beautiful
I remember singing this for choir a few years ago. Our teachers had us master our parts separately and then our conductor brought us together to sing it. I always felt emotional singing this piece because the lyrics meant so much to me so when I heard the other voices and the harmonies coming together, I literally broke down after that session. We sounded so beautiful and otherworldly in that moment. It was so powerful and peaceful at the same time. Music always has been and continues to be my refuge.
Does anyone else notice the parallel fifths?
Young Gen was here
music is truly something to lean on. even though I like rock lol
WOW! I never knew that Frank Ticheli put words to the musical number of sanctuary. IT IS PERFECT!!
I came here bcuz of Detroit become human game
i wrote my college essay on the euphoric feeling this piece gave me the first time I sang it
I'm here because of 'Detroit: become human'
this was the song for our marching band's ballad movement...
We're singing this in choir and me and my boyfriend just broke up so I can barley sing this song in class anymore cause it makes me so sad😔
"We Are People ! "
"We are alive!" "We are alive!"
Detroit become human
Singing this with the "Umbrian Serenades" choir this summer in Spain.
"WE ARE ALIVE!"
"SET US FREE!"
"LIBERTY FOR ANDROIDS!"
I sang this during an intense period of recovery after a very traumatic three years, and this song really reminded me why I make music. When I sang this song, it was honestly rather difficult not to cry. Music moves me like nothing else does, and the despair and the hope and the love expressed in this piece really hit home for me. I needed it.
Saw this live the other day. I can still taste the salt from my tears.
♥️♥️♥️
I remember singing this in middle school for a clinic in Chicago now this song always makes me nostalgic
Who conducts this choir? I am trying to buy this version on iTunes
Nevermind. I just found it.
Hard to find these types of songs to practice to when i'm not with the rest of my choir XD
<3
The balance in the beginning is so ridiculously gorgeous. I haven't ever heard the song sung this well.
I have a deep and sentimental story about this song... Alas, nobody would read it.
i played several of Ticheli’s pieces in concert band and absolutely adored them but i didn’t know he composed for choir too. this is one of the most beautiful pieces i have ever heard and i will definitely be recommending it to my choir (thankfully i sing too so i’ll be able to perform more of his pieces).
I'm so excited to sing this for imea
I can't help but to cry during this song. As far back as I remember, I loved singing and listening to music. When I first heard this song, it was so amazing and peaceful. It has not lost its meaning to me, and it never will.
ilmea where u at
I feel that with everything that's going on in the world right now, this song is the message everyone needs to hear. There is so much pain and sadness brought upon this world with terrorist attacks happening every week on top of all our other troubles. My chorus teacher said something so amazing that I even teared up when she said it... I can't remember her exact words but practically she said that she feels that the world needs to heard that last chord, "peace" and maybe we will learn to love and not to hurt one another. This song is such a work of art, I wish every person could hear it and really listen to the words.
ILMEA
The chamber choir im in is singing this
Memories. ARHS CHORALE 2017
When I was in 7th grade a new choir teacher began teaching 7th-12th graders. The high school concert choir did this at the very first concert of the year (hurricane sandy was actually going on that day). Now I am a senior in high school in concert choir with the same choir teacher and we are singing this song again. (And this time hurricane Irma is happening)
Force of Nature!!
"Through darkness and strife, I'll sing."
Pray for Manchester. 🇬🇧 Pray for the world. 💛
This is my first time hearing this song. I was completely blown away. I LOVE this song. My best line is "music and singing have been my refuge. It truly is. I'm 66 years old and have been singing all my life. At this stage in my life I am hearing some great music and Earth Song is tops. Thank you for sharing.
absolutely breathtaking. cannot wait to perform this with my choir, just wish the alto part was a little stronger here
This song touched me more than my uncle ever will
