Not seeking to wind any Jags fans up, but I used to go round the country and do a bit of ground-hopping on the rare occasion that I had no game to attend on the Saturday. Recently I was talking to a pal about a game I'd seen Thistle in, away at Bayview in maybe Rd 1 or Rd 2 of the League Cup, or it may have been the Challenge Cup. Definitely very early in the season, as I do remember that it was Phil Collins LP weather - no jacket required. I'm sure it was something like 4-3AET to the home side, or maybe 3-2. Definitely a shock, and definitely the most entertaining Thistle game I've watched from a neutral perspective. Would be grateful if anyone could help me pin-point that one. Think it may have been the late-90s? No doubt I've forgotten the full details of the game as I witnessed in Methil that day the most 50-years-behind-everywhere-else shop window display that I've seen in my entire life, and I've been in countries run by commies! In with the rest of the assorted dross made available to the Fife consumer, there was one of those really thin glazed-over-polystyrene-feel paper planes which you took out of a thin paper bag back in the days when TV went on strike and racism was trendy. However, top of the heap, and sure to fire the nation's economy beyond Monaco, were 20 Capstan Full Strength Cigarettes, which I hadn't seen for years on account of all their customers being dead. Fife - A collection of towns and villages aimed at making Dunfermline seem less utterly appalling.
fuk airdrie
Brilliant to see that again after all these years.
Shitty quality. Is there a better quality version where he includes the iko iko line?

how on earth did they persuade top flight professional clubs to send a senior team to play in a tournament like this? it's lamentable they would never do this these days...

In yer dreams! United's game was based on pace, space and fitness over 90 minutes, not exactly conducive to indoor 6s :S Good luck next season!
Was the tennents 6's held in the SECC, i'm sure it was.
Simon enjoying himself as only he can. It's his song. If he wants to take his time, why shouldn't he. Piss off if you don't like it.
