With my selfie stick left at home on Saturday (found it in my parking spot when I got back) I messed up most of my shots as I kept touching the screen and mistakenly ended up changing all the settings. This early 360-degree photo was animated and amped up a bit with a soundtrack from a video I'd shot on Friday.

My brush with a bit of questionable traffic circle etiquette while I was on my bike! Not to make excuses, but with so few of them sprinkled through the city, people have no idea what the rules are. Sure, I definitely had right of way, but that makes no difference when you're outweighed by 3 tons!

With the weather warming up I decided to take a brief bike ride into Toronto. With the exception of some street riding on Lakeshore Boulevard and a few quiet residential roads, this easy, safe ride stays away from cars on the Martin Goodman bike trail.
Pre eclipse walk in Ball's Falls

On arriving at Ball's Falls prior to the eclipse I took a brief reconnaissance walk to check on possible locations to set up. Though I found better (and drier) sightlines in the parking lot and ended up zotzing my plans to view the waterfalls because of limited time, what a great place this will be to come back for a longer non-eclipse visit this summer.

I get down to the Port Lands fairly regularly and with the construction going on the routes available are being whittled down. I always head out to Tommy Thomson Park for the scenic view of Toronto.
It's too bad that Toronto has turned into a reeking ****hole.
