Thank you! This is such an overwhelming problem and it’s getting worse! There are a few of us that have been discussing what we can do to get our community involved. Our local shelter has had close for various periods of time in order not to euthanize for space. That presents other issues. We are in the conception stages of forming ‘an animal welfare task force’ within our community to help. Thanks again for the info!

I can totally relate to all of these things. restriction,fear weight gain etc. It becomes very overwhelming,and when people try to judge you,it makes it so much worse. Unless you go through this terrible ordeal on a daily basis,you wouldnt understand.

For 1 no matter how hard it is but “You” can’t save every dog or cat! Making the hard decisions for a dog that the Vet says there’s only a slim chance of survival with treatment so you don’t let them suffer instead of racking up a $10,000 vet bill for a dog that’s going to die no matter what. I hate saying but it’s the truth that $10,000 would go a long way in supplies & saving other dogs. Well tin & tons animals form other countries don’t need to be continuously brought here! With our shelters & rescues are full & begging for fosters,adopters & money.

I believe Anorexia is a mental illness and can not be cured, i have a Grandaughter aged 15 who looks like a ten year old lying on the floor in Auschwitz/ Belsen They lie and cheat, mines excuse was To tell her school she was home dinners, and kept the dinner money, Then she became a Goth black hair black eye liners grey skin BAGGY TROUSERS and an oversize Jacket Evening meal it was Oh I have just been to Maccy "D"s with my friends She is supposed to be getting treatment, with psychiatrist /Dr/family/ new school, New school is a joke supposed to remove the background, but a what appears to be a ten year old in a class of fifteen yearolds with no current friends She has missed a years schooling, so I expect she may get a job in a charity shop as a volunteer so long as she does not have to use maths to set prices sell stuff or write posters She is a brilliant artist but you do not make a living at that (John lennon You will never make a living playing a guitar John) is the exception I feel so sad, as she still insists that it is normal
