I was looking at your Eagle, can you explain how to program the tail and wing functions on the radio? I know the Ailerons, now to program them to go up and down, please.

I use the tamiya plastic bushes out of their kits to replace any 1150 bearings and 1050 bearings not had a problem since with seized or broken bearings and no worries about running in mud /water or on the beach now .

Also you will need to set your Spektrum Tx to "extended limits" to get the full 1000usecs to 2000usecs travels that the Kopilot requires for calibration. 😉

At this point you can build your own rc out of clodbuster upgrades its pointless to even buy one anymore unless you just want a stock clodbuster

That's another nice light foamie conversion but nobody in their right mind would pay those prices for the shell and components! The same frame is available in Australia for AU$10 from Kmart. (Or the similar LIDL glider elsewhere in the world.) Plus you can get the components for a full 3-axis twin motor version with A Byme stabilizer and cheap Flysky (or other protocol) receiver which will handle the wind much better (and be much better in a crash!) for less than Banggood want there. We used the motors and ESCs off donor MJX Bugs2/3 quads. Plenty of power on 3s and 5x4.5x3 props.

Great video! Same issue with the prop saver popping off of my eagle. Fortunately I was able to glide it in from 200 ft without harm, but I will be installing a regular collet for my next flight. I also made a magnetic battery hatch on the bottom for access. A tray holds the battery. If you catch it like that every time, the prop will never hit the ground! Nice catch!

Bind it to a programmable Tx, add some negative/inverse expo in the aileron and elevator mixers, and it will fly MUCH MUCH better with stabilization off. I did that with my XK A210 T-28 Trojan, and it was absolutely night and day different than flying it un-stabilized with the stock Tx and the laughable mixers they have programmed in it.

Thank you so much. I’m brand new to RC flight. I just purchased a ZOHD Kopilot autopilot system, and the ZOHD VC400 Racing Camera, along with a Spektrum AR637T receiver for my newly purchased Vought F4U-1A Corsair 1600mm. I have only used the RF9.5S computer simulator I purchased a few weeks ago and even though I keep crashing I’m hooked, so I’m hoping these items will help on my up coming maiden flight. So now I’m building my first plane the Corsair and it’s been overwhelming with receivers and transmitters and 6000 mah lipo batteries (what’s that even mean). You just clarified so much in your short video, no documentation could have explained it better, once again thank you.
