Building an Oak Coffee Table (no talking)
A video about the building-process of a coffee table: 00:00
Like always without talking. To enjoy the peacefull atmosphere of crafting process :)
The table was built out of a oak tree with many cracks and a big hole, were probably a bird had a nest in it. 00:15
These defects have been filled with black epoxy. 01:35
After that, the typical working process:
-Sawing 01:52
-Planing 02:09
-Gluing 02:43
To avoid the table board from wrapping, wooden C-Channel were used 03:52
Sanding the oak-board 07:34
For the table frame i welded a 4mm steel plate and a square tube together 08:19
and two beams out of oak were screwed crosswise. 13:07
For finish I have used ordinary linseed oil 14:00

Просмотров 519 тыс.2 года назад
A video, that shows the building process of a wooden Elm Bow. Without talking, simply the relaxed crafting-process :)
were can I purchase a philips head cat? is that mandatory for the build?
Ulmenholzbögen sind Winterbögen!
Nice area for build
TOP BOW ❤ Very Nice !
Wow, really nice job. Thanks :) 🏹 🇨🇦
Beautiful work excellent craftsmanship
Very inspiring and impressive! Why Elm?
8:48 at first i didn't saw that cat
Ganz toll gemacht so liebe ich den Holzbogenbau gruss Andreas.
Impressed with the tool shop that didn't have every tool in the world displayed. You make do very well.
Beatiful bow❤ I see what looks like a Russian olive tree in your background @7:58. You should show us a bow made from that beautiful dark wood
i love this. im gonna try make a bow and arrow get in touch with my traditional side, (Swampy Cree) the indigenous in me lol. what kind of wood is that? will any kind just work i got some kind of spruce and some kind of birch bark which will work better?
I cringed when I saw him sawing towards his legs 3.28
Hello, Great work, congratulations Is there posibility to get a bow from you? Thanks
would you be considering to make one and sell it if someone did not have the skills knowledge and tools to do this
That was really great man. Great watch start to finish.
Nice looking Bow man Wow 😎👍💯🔥🏹
So satisfying to watch
The biggest difficulty will be finding an elm tree.
You took so long to make the bow that the bison died of old age and dehydrated before getting shot. Glad that your bow didn't snap after all that hard work.
hi really you did a great job I would like to know what wood you use to make your bows and how long do you let the wood dry before manufacturing.
Great video man! More than one way to make a bow. I would be interested in knowing how fast that bow shoots. Regardless, the bow and video are both a beautiful peice of artwork.
Awesome
Muito bom 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Waiting for more videos!
Just the kind of relaxing video needed.
This was a very good video to watch, and a very nice place you live in. If I can say it, I think the tiller is wrong for the profile of bow you have. Your bow is bending too much near fades. This is typical in a pyramid bow. Your bow has a parallel profile, it should bend less near fades. That’s why you have some set near fades (worst place to have set), and lost some tension. But congrats, it was very nice
my favourite. no talk.
That quiver though! Thing of beauty
We where do you get horn ? You are a true artist
Who taught you?
How do I find elm in the uk. Very rare wood but love the video
Es sieht so einfach aus, wenn du den Bogen baust. Danke, das du dieses Video gemacht hast. Der Bogen gefällt mir.
#?
Nice bow, no words, cute cat. What more could a man want?
Un artista y artesanal este hombre.
Great work, poundage?
Don't hit an axt with a hammer!!
For beginners. This would prove extremely hard. Start with a decent branch from any tree you think will do and practice. Sometimes you get some great little bows. Powerful too. And it's a good way to spend a little time. Without looking for perfection.
Tolle Arbeit mit einfachen Werkzeugen!😀 klasse🤗👏👍
That's a really nice bow. I'm curious about draw weight. I was recently given an osage bow. I'm still learning with it. My only other experience is with a compound bow.
Bel video! Considerando che é il tuo primo é grandioso! Bravo
My hats off to him just for splitting this piece of elm, if you have ever tried to split elm you know what I am talking about!
Is that pine
Very nice
Hello, my friend, You are a craftsman, without question. That was a fantastic watch. I didn't notice the lack of any music or conversation until I read some comments. I think that was because I loved watching you work and being with your tools and understanding them. You were in tune with your tools, knew what you wanted them to do, and did it. I loved hearing the noises of the files/rasps/chisels removing the wood on your way through your build. There is no nicer feeling than having an idea, then being with your tools and watching that idea develop. It is unique to you. No one else understands it, it's your secret! Thank you.
Class.
The stave you used could of made two bows... wasted a lot of wood...!!😪
Dry the wood for six months. lol I should do a few of these now and they’ll be ready for next summer.
Great bow but why! do you string your bow that way haha..
