This song 🎶 had been recorded in 1962 and before it became hit two weeks before, the Beatles were performing in clubs in Hamburg, Germany. The story has it that Ringo Starr didn’t play drums on this song 🎵 when it was recorded. The drummer 🥁 was a studio drummer for EMI Records and, for some reason the record company used their own drummer 🥁 instead. In 1962 it became a hit in England but didn’t become a in America until 1964. A year before in 1963 it was released under other record labels but, those songs never charted.

I heard 👂 this one on Beatles albums and this song 🎶 is great from the early days of the Beatles.In a way Tony, you’ve started Beatlemania on your own channel. It certainly won’t be long for the rest of the British Invasion to take place. The 1960’s didn’t take place until the Beatles came to America. At that time people here in America were still mourning the death 💀 of JFK. When the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and the British Invasion soon to take place. All of that was soon going to change because people were still living life as though it was the 1950’s. As the Beatles set foot 🦶 on American soil and gave their performance on the Ed Sullivan show, that’s what gave birth to the 1960’s. Music 🎼 would never be the same anymore. Thank you Tony for featuring the Beatles on your channel because, I’ll always remember where I was in 1964. You, Keep Rocking Sir!!!

I had this song 🎶 on the Beatles 2nd album from Capitol Records 1964. I was 8 years old when my Mom bought that album for me. I played it everyday till I wore it out that record and it being scratched. That’s how much I liked the Beatles. It’s that you have to play their songs under unknown records labels. I guess the ones blocking you are Capitol and EMI Records since those are major record labels. What’s weird they blocked you when you played the Beatles under those major labels but, they didn’t block you when you played the other songs that you been playing. I guess those companies think 💭 you’re going to make money off of them because people are still buying records and cd’s of The Beatles from those companies. In way they’re still making money off the Beatles, I don’t know 🤷 if Paul and Ringo are still getting a cut off of that. But, Tony I know Sir you’re doing your best to keep your listeners happy.😆 Keep up the good work Sir!!!

Hello Tony, I’ve never seen “the Beatles” recorded for “swan records” i actually have a few Beatles albums & the 1st album was on capitol records & a on Apple records…… & I know up north…. They were on paraphone records…… label but I’m surprised to see that label for the Beatles 😮

A friend of mine that was a huge Beatles fan had this one in German. The 1 st I heard it was over the radio 📻 in 1964 just that they played it just a couple of times. Then it wasn’t played ever again. My friend back in the 80’s bought an album 💿 of the Beatles that was an album of rarities. If the Beatles knew German they learned to speak 🗣️ it because, they spent time playing it the clubs of Hamburg, Germany. This record that you own Tony is a rarity and under the Swan 🦢 label 🏷️. Another friend of mine took a pleasure cruise 🚢 him and his wife and they toured Europe. He called me from Hamburg and I asked him if he could check out the clubs where the Beatles used to perform. He did and said the clubs aren’t there because that area is a tourist attraction. The sell souvenirs on account the Beatles performed there before being popular. He brought me some things from Hamburg a guitar 🎸 on a keychain which says, Hamburg the Rock 🪨 and Roll Capital of Europe. Later he went to London and brought me a plaque from Abbey Road. Well…Tony you kept your by word by featuring the Beatles even though it’s a German version of She loves You. Very great 👍 song 🎶 by the way.😊

In 1970 I was in Junior High when this song came out. Over the years after that this song 🎶 had been played off and on, on the radio 📻.😊 The 5Th Dimension as a group was big in those days. Well, Tony that’s great you’re fixing to also move into the 70’s. From the 50’s-80’s those were certainly great times for music with great songs as well.😊

I remember this song because this was one of my Mom’s favorite songs she’d sing 🎤 to when it would come out on the radio 📻. I was 7 years old back then and I’d remember my Mom singing this one ☝️. I saw 👀 on Y-Tube a live performance of the Cascades performing this song live. If wasn’t the 1990’s perhaps in the 2000’s and it sounded awesome 🤩. Years later you realize that a song 🎶 was great 👍 because when you’re 7 years old you don’t pay attention to those things. Thanks, Tony for sharing it with us because this song 🎵 was special to me. This Rockabilly tune 🎶 is amazing, because it’s similar to Gene Vincent’s music 🎵. Even though Rock music 🎼 was still in its infancy many great songs came out of that time period. Thanks for sharing Tony because you share the “B” sides as well. One mistake that radio 📻 stations did in those days was to play the side of the hit song. They hardly ever played the “B”sides and the radio 📻 listeners always got a bum rap. If they wanted to listen to the “B” side they had to buy the disc because that’s the way it was. Did Robin Luke have other hits or was he a one hit wonder?
