I am a Delhi based stand up comedian. My inspiration for comedy comes from the daily life of an average Indian housewife and mother with pun “intended” against the hypocrisy of our patriarchy. Married for 20 years and a mother of 2, no one listens to me at home, so I decided to find strangers who might lend me an ear. I also feel it may be my menopausal mid-life crisis moment.

My name is Harpriya Bains. I am a stand-up comedian and have been doing Stand up for the last 6 years.
This is my second RUclips video and the content in this is a humorous take on the little things and ways in our thought process, societal norms, and expectations that subtly imply that every day men mostly have it their way and as women, we may just be lowering our expectations (and standards) to co-exist happily 😄) Because we love our men…well mostly..hahahaha!!
