It's a CONSERVATIVE CITY....WE LOVE OUR GUNS AND RESPECT OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT.. HOME TO A HUGE MILITARY COMMUNITY....SO PUT SOME RESPECT ON IT.. .WE WON'T TOLERATE WOKEISM EITHER. We also have a town center and a very diverse community.

Watching speeders run the stop signs in Ghent commons, especially the one on prince Edward way and Llewellyn,it all starts at around 330 EVERY DAY talk about public safety 😮 check it out,if you want to take from solitaire,we have the car numbers for a U Tube presentation.

Wifey lived in Va Beach for a long time when young ( 1985ish ) and loved it. Been living on the SC coast for the last 35 years and love it. We are about 15 miles south of Myrtle Beach. Can't beat the weather, food, bars, boating, beach, etc Sorry, but she won't be back... 😂😂

So has the rate of car break ins lowered since 2020 because I know that was common around many apartment complexes?
That’s a great question, each city has different pockets of crime rates. I’d recommend checking out the app spotcrime, it’ll allow you to look at specific areas of any city and will show you what the recent crime rate/and types of crimes are occurring in the area you look into
That's a trick question, safety is not a priority in Norfolk VA at all.😢
I understand a lot of cities can seem that way. That’s why I always recommend the spotcrime app just to be as educated as possible.
I was referring to the lack of law enforcement on stop signs and posted speed limits 😮so much for a safe neighborhood 😢

Hi! We're considering VB to move in 2025. Are floods and natural disasters something to worry about? Does it happen often? Is it safe for families?
Hi! Thats a great question! I’ve lived in Virginia Beach for roughly 30 years and I can only think of 2 major storms/hurricanes that took place of off the top of my head, during these a majority of the city didn’t take too much damage. Living on the water would definitely be more of a risk than living a little more inland in Virginia Beach but compared to other resort cities Virginia Beach is relatively safe.

Being from va beach (salem high school area) aka rosemont/bridlecreek area. Now living in Baltimore city for 10+ years. There is nothing to worry about there trust me, besides the juiced up squids all drunk at the oceanfront lol. Dont even know how i got to this video lol
Lol you’re right! It’s definitely one of the safer, family friends cities. Avoiding some of the late night party animals is always a safer move

You may want to rethink that unless you have no choice (public safety is not a priority in Norfolk 😢 sad
Unfortunately there definitely are some areas that could be much safer- I always recommend using the app spotcrime to help make the best decision when it comes to crime rates in certain areas. Some of the neighboring cities could also be a better option for some
Hi I have a son who is interested in soccer but I do not see any prospect for soccer in Virginia Beach even though it is offered in middle school. What's your take? I love Virginia but I'm afraid not having soccer in the MLS maybe a make it or break it for me😢
Hi! Great question! Virginia actually has a semi-pro team called Virginia Beach City FC (Affiliated with DC United) Major league soccer teams like DC United are just a short trip away. You can actually take train straight to DC near the Stadium from Virginia Beach and it would be about the same cost that gas would have been, without any headaches of traffic. As far as playing soccer- Virginia Beach has been known for having very talented and successful travel teams that can be playing in addition to middle school. The ones I’d recommend looking into are Beach FC and Virginia Rush Soccer Club
