      @@technowatercornervlogs. Good day sir, frequency is based on 2 factors. Engine RPM at yung number of poles ng alternator which is fixed. (Poles x RPM/ 120 = Hz) sa pinas 60hz tayo. Kung maliit yang genset kasi mostly 2poles kaya (2P x 3600rpm/120 =60hz) kung malaki naman usually nsa 4poles (4P x 1800rpm/1800 =60hz) pero meron din sa barko na brands such sa hyundai, taiyo, nishishiba is 8poles (8P x 900rpm/120 = 60hz. From these examples makita mo sir na yung poles ng windings fixed yan nde yan pwedeng mabago at yung 120 is given yan (time) kaya meaning if magbago Hz meaning mabagal or mabilis yung RPM ng prime mover (makina). I hope may natutunan ka sir dito. Thanks

      Voltage output of AVR without load has different values based on brand and capacity. Some has only 6vdc & some has 15vdc @no load. Whats important to consider is that the Voltage output is proportional to the loading conditions. I hope this answers your question. Thanks

    sir gud pm paano kung ang output nya sa pag start at walang load ay nasa 75vdc na?umiinit kasi ang exciter field at di maadjust ang voltage.sira na ba avr ko

      Good PM sir, based sa informations mo sir. May probability na sira AVR, ask ko lang sir meron ba yan remote V adjustment sa switchboard? If meron need muna ma check if ok connection at nde open yung potentiometer, pwede din kasi mag cause ng high V ang AVR pag may open lines towards remote V adjustment at kung dun ka mag adjust wala din V reaction. Pero if ok naman yun at yun AVR wala naman fuse then I can confirm na AVR lang talaga issue nyan. Thanks

    I HAVE AN AVR SX460 INSTALLED ON A 220V GENERATOR. BUT NOW IT IS GENERATING 360 V AND IT DOES NOT TAKE ADJUSTMENT BY THE VOLTAGE POETENTIOMETER. I ASK YOU: IS IT A PROBLEM WITH THE AVR CARD OR IS IT AN INTERNAL PROBLEM. BECAUSE THE CARD LOOKED GOOD

      SX460 max input in 264V only and it’s receiving 360v and since this avr’s does not have fuses then your avr is probably gone. Check excitation V how high is it and from there you can confirm that you have a defective AVR. Damaged rotating diodes or burnt winding wont show a high voltage, instead it produces a very low V. Thanks

      IT IS A CARD EQUAL TO THE STAMFORD, BUT UNIVERSAL. MY QUESTION IS: WHAT COMPONENT WAS DAMAGED TO THE CARD SO THAT IT DOES NOT REGULATE THE OUTPUT AND IS AT MAXIMUM RANGE

      @@teloexplicaeldiamante2855 Hard to know which electronic component gave up, but based on your info’s it’s on the regulation circuitry. But if fitted with remote V adjustment is suggest you check if it’s open or if connection from potentiometer to avr if not broken or loose. A loose remote V potentiometer also causes high V output. If no remote then AVR is defective. Thanks

    Good day sir. may I ask you about some ideas regarding Alternator AVR . what will happen if the AVR will encounter some unexpected trouble. how it affects the operation . ? thing as I have observed.

      Good day, you cant set the rated V or it will not sustain the V once genset take the electrical load. AVR, A acronym stands for Automatic, then AVR should react to whatever loading conditions, if its defective then V will not be sustained and therefore produces a high current that will either trip the breaker or burn windings or blew up diode/s in the rotation diodes.       Important is the AVR will match the excitation voltage & current of the winding field. So check the alternator nameplate if it mentions about the excitation V & I, your AVR output must be higher than those values otherwise it will damage your AVR. Thanks

    I have 375kva nta855-g1 genset for poultry use. .the problema low herts low l-l low l-n kw low and shot down engine. .what is the problem sir can u advice me what is the probs of my genset 365kva

      It really depends on the engine shutdown protection naka install sa system. But based sa info mo sir, low Hz means mabagal andar ng prime mover kya low L-L and L-N din yan definitely. Check na lang ano issue sa governor, fuel lines or other mechanical parts that is causing the RPM nd ema meet rated. If its 4poles yan 1800rpm Im assuming 4 poles windings. Thanks

    May tanong lang ako sir about sa generator namin after ma synchronize sa automatic mode in 10 minutes bigla nalang babagsak yng rpm at frequency ano kaya cause sir kasi pag ilagay sa manual mode ok naman
