My name is Patrick DuBose, and I'm a avid practitioner of Bushcraft, Self reliance, and general woodsy knowledge. I've been in the outdoors all my life and been gaining skills with each passing year. I hope to encourage other people to get out in the woods and learn some good skills!
Little bit of hand drill practice
Was going through my teaching supplies in the back of my vehicle and wanted to give a shot at a hand drill!

My Day bag for adventures in the woods! This is something I just keep in my car so l can hop out and go into the woods as soon as I get back from work it is pretty small and basic but covers what I think I need for the day. #bushcraft #survival #bushcraftgear #knives #hillpeoplegeartarahumara #primitivewoodsman #outdoorgear

Primitive Woodsman Hellbender-Bushcraft Knife
This is the best flint steel and song I've ever seen and listened
Like watching a retard trying to tie their shoes by tuemselves.
If u want a fire you might want to move the hatchet closer to the fuel so the sparks don’t die out as fast
He’s just igniting his char material, which a small spark will do easily. Then you put that into something like a birdnest or tinder bundle to get actual flame.
100%
No one will ever convince me 5 bic lighters aren't better thats 256 hours of continuous flame 2 5 packs would last through the apocalypse
Totally! But it’s good to practice other methods :)
This guy just doesn't know wtf he's doing. And if you're out there you should already jave a blade. So carrying a tiny rock with your 5 lighters shouldn't be that big of a deal.
@@cyruslever586or finding a rock off the landscape
@Mtn_eonin for sure, good to know multiple ways .
Great job!!! 🔥
Appreciate it!
All my 80crv2 knives were meh at holding a edge. Wish it held longer.
I find that a good strop brings the edge back in no time
Nice kit. Thanks for sharing.
Great little cooking setup! I’ve used something similar in the past except made an adjustable pot hanger. Very cool hatchet too!🤘🏼
Thanks! 👍
Hope you're feeling better❤
$350 is a bit outa my price range for that knife
Totally and that’s alright, a mora garberg is a great budget option as well!
Thanks for the shoutout brother!!! Great blades for sure!!!!
Always dude!
Nice review Patrick, glad to see someone finally getting one posted! Hope to see more use in the future. This great blade deserves more exposure. 👍
Much appreciated 🙌
Great knife and great review!! Thanks for sharing and I need to get one of these!!!
They are fantastic and you won’t regret it!
Great review!
Thanks and it’s a great blade!
Heck yeah! Great video!
Thanks!🔥
How many times have you sharpened it?
I have not sharpened it at all only stropped
Awesome!
Thanks!
If it's raining and everything is wet what do you do then???
You can still do it in the rain. You just have to be very careful about getting the board wet. But it’s always good to have a back up.
Damn
I got bored. Does it eventually do something?
It creates an ember which is then blown into flame with a birds nest, plan on doing a full length video on it
Damn he has tik tok brain
@@Mtn_eoninan* ember
Knife
What kind of life is that?
It’s a Buffalo cove bushcrafter I’ve got a review of it here on my channel
@@Mtn_eonin spread your cheeks and dont clench, ill be there in 30
See right there that is a Logical fire kit boss your one of the few I seen who gots a lighter in there kit most crafters only got flint steel & mag rod only
It’s important to have a sure way of making flame. I carry a BIC with me 24/7
Got one last year after seeing it all over IG. Probably the most photogenic knife of the year. Very solid and capable, can do it all. Thanks for a great review.
If you ever wanna try out a weird knife that actually works really well checkout a yakut knife
Absolutely, I use a Yakut knife and it is the consummate feather stick maker. The chiseled edge is second to none when it comes to sharpness, but it makes it a bit weak. Nevertheless, a Yakut is an excellent bushcraft blade.
Wow good job
How can I get one of those
Go visit Primitive Woodsman on google!
About $600
Such a pretty knife!! I feel like my bushcrafting knife is a little better tho 😝
Whatever works for you! Love seeing what people prefer for their tools!
@@Mtn_eonin😅 sprry that was supposed to be more teasing, i have a 12"(?)by 3/16" knife axe that ive used the he'll outta ❤ but i really do lile your kife 😊
I very like first and second. :) Knives in leather sheath that’s it! Greetings. :P
Glad ya liked them! I’m not usually a big fan of Kydex, but my buddy made this one and it’s amazing
@@Mtn_eonin Thanks! :)
Nice knives. 👍🏼👍🏼 My current ‘bushcraft’ knives would be my TOPS Brakimo and my three Condor Terrasaurs. I actually edc the Brakimo, unless I’m carrying my Prather War Bowie. By favorite primary knives in the field are my Tahoma Field Knife and my Armageddon ( yes I’m a TOPS fan).
Haven’t had my hands on a TOPS yet!
Excellent field tools All 3 perfect 👍
Great Blades Man ! I cant say my favorite because i have had dozens ( dont recommended that lol ) but i Carry a Tops Puukko or A Falkniven F1 , Or A Triple X NorEaster with a Hultafors Hatchet, & Silky Bigboy as a main set...Cheers Bro...Spook
Thanks man!!
@@Mtn_eonin New Sub man ! Cheers ! 🍻
I love LT Wright! Thyy make knives to be used, not like most of the others nowdays, who make wall hangers and people buy them and praise them, just because they no sht about knives! That being said, this LT is too big to be practical, so I'd choose the Buffalo!
I love the size on the BC Bushcrafter and it’s always on me!
That LT is not a big knife. And large knives is very practical.
Large knives, means 7 inch and up blade, are not very practical man THose are the defenition, of NOT being a practical knife, due to iut's big size. Are you sure you understannd the translation/meaning, of the word practical?? Do these carry easier than a 4 inch knife? Do they fit inside a bag easier? are they easier to use than a medium size knife? What "practical" means for you? ,@@bushcraft_in_the_north
