Please don't use glue traps unless you check them daily and plan to get them off with vegetable oil.
How did you treat
bed bug treatment is a combination of liquid products (temprid, crossfire, are popular) Plus vacuuming eggs, dust applications (cimexa is a popular dust) and also mattress/box spring covers and climb up traps. Then knowing how to apply them all and what works best comes with experience.
Holy shit where in Worcester?
I am sensetive to bed bug bites, will i have itchings and redness from baby bed bug bites as well?
No matter the stage, it itches and you might redness. It depends person to person but generally those are the symptoms.
how can they get inside the mattress?
Yea ortho home defense does work i had a mild infestation from what it looked like i went crazy with it finished 2 bottles but the third one seemed to do the trick i sprayed everywhere even my car twice just in case I haven't wiped down my walls just in case its been 3 weeks since ive seen one but still stripping my bed when i wake up still got my clothes in airtight boxes and bags cant be too sure just being cautious
Ive seen them running on the glue traps and not getting stuck. Its amazing how smart they are.
Let me ask you because I've had it myself and I live in Toronto housing Toronto community housing and I will tell you it takes a couple of months 6 to 9 months to get rid of them once you have them because as much as you can complain and say you're still getting bit when the inspector comes and he sees no lights no life evidence of bed bugs but yet you're still getting bit what do you do then what do you do when the specialist says that they have 20 years experience and even though your spring 99% alcohol on your bed and you see black little things popping up and he's telling you it's not bed bugs then what is it because the only thing I see is little black specks of like pepper and I'm still getting bit in threes that's the only bug I know that bites in three I don't know any other bug so what do you do at that point when you had three or four inspectors say they see no life evidence and when you get sprayed they say they see no life evidence of bed bugs but yet when you sleep you're getting bit
What’s the camera you’re using and does it need WiFi 🙏

@ Thanks, can I ask how do you catch them when they’re not taking the poison and avoiding the traps
glue gtraps are not legal; and they die slowly by them which is very cruel. Dont use glue traps
Your ❌️ my dad needs lot of traps glu because we have 4 rats but 3 ☠️ know we have 1 left i can heret now and is 10 : 51
i think the bait you use is key i have used peanut butter in victor metal snap traps and have caught 18 mice in 2 months and have tried to seal off entry points outside my house
do booklice look similar to these?
Theres been cases where houses had to be demolished to get rid of them. They are resistant to most chemicals!
They are an impossible problem to deal with you would never see them on a patterned background If you go to all the effort to get rid of the repulsive things it's so easy to reintroduce them either from you bringing them into your home on articles brought into your home you can't thoroughly inspect every seam and crevis it would be a full time job occupying all your time
Now I'ma be checking my bed every day for bed bugs. 💀
I came here because I think a friend of mine has these 😢 unfortunately. But I don't want to end up with these things in my home. Ummmm HELL NAH ! I've never been around these nasty things therefore I don't know wtf they look like . That's why I'm here. Cause if she has them I'm not going to be going to her house anymore. Nor will I be taking her anywhere in my truck. I'm not being rude I'm just being safe. I can't and will not go to someones house that has or could have bugs . Especially bedbugs. Even talking about them make my skin crawl yucky af
When you get to know a mouse, they are smarter than I thought. Don't underestimate them based on your observations like how small they are. Same rule applies with people. Just get some more knowledge about something or someone before you start judging off observations. Also, the speed that the mouse has is its greatest defense. If it was not for there speed, they would not make it to there hide out spots in those small holes and I would have trapped it myself like using a big glass of jar
I was using rat traps since the mice are more comfortable just wandering into a larger enclosed space than a smaller one, and the same mouse actually managed to react fast enough to escape the electric trap the first time. It was crazy to see it on video. I'm still not sure how it managed to turn around in time, run the length of an entire rat trap and turn right 90 degrees to escape when everything around it was electrified. And whatever the trap did to it wasn't enough to deter it from coming back a couple hours later and ferrying out all the peanuts in the trap one-by-one (since the trap had already gone off and won't go off against until you reset it). The next night it came back and it didn't get away this time but it almost made it out. It just stumbled right at the entrance.
I’m curious, if you put a cover on a mattress, does it prevent new ones from crawling on the mattress as well or does it just trap & suffocate the ones already on there? Also, I heard that steamers are good for killing them..can I buy a small portable one for around $40 to $50 & steam the areas around my mattress?
it does not prevent new ones. it just eliminates the mattress and box-spring as hiding spots allowing treatment to focus on other areas. Any eggs etc are trapped in the seams and box spring. via the covers. Instead of a steamer I would buy a hepa vacuum and/or use sterifab you'll have much better results than with a steamer
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 thanks for the info. By the way, what’s a sterifab?
@@ro-landocalrissian4633 search sterifab on amazon. it comes in a spray bottle and can be used for bed bug treatments
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 forgot to ask, what about that diatomaceous earth powder? Did you ever try this? I read that it’s bad if you inhale it though. Do you know if this is true?
@@ro-landocalrissian4633 i would go with cimexa powder, much better but you have to know how to apply it. If you have no experience with applying dust then I would skip it all together. And always wear a respirator.
Sooo do you burn all your clothes every night after work? How does that not bother you guys, doing what you do?
As long as you're cautious and have some experience with treating bed bugs its not to concerning. 18 years I've never had an issue bringing them home. Fleas are much worse and will get on you and into your truck, not fun.
Are there some insects that could be mistaken for bed bugs? I’m curious, do bed bug covers not allow them to crawl on that cover? What are the traps you put on the stands of the bed frame called & where can you get them?
I've seen people mistake a lot of thigs for bed bugs, but its pretty clear what they are once you've seen a few of them. bed bug cover trap any bugs/eggs inside the cover and box-spring. This is important as they can hide on the wood of the boxspring making it difficult to treat. When a cover is placed on the mattress/boxspring it make that area no longer a place to hide and traps any inside (covers should never be taken off once put on) They are called climb-up bed bug traps. search on amazon.
Sure those small ones aren't just book lice?
man, this one actually looks a looot more like what people say are booklice! the thin shape, the head quite seperated from the body... but this surely is a bed bug?
For someone who recently battled an infestation, it was small/mild, nothing crazy! But here are my tips and please use it to your full advantage no matter how big or small your infestation is. This is going to be a LONG READ!!! But it’s helpful!!! 1: Buy mattress, pillow, and box spring covers/ encasements. Specifically made for bed bugs because it has a material that bed bugs have a hard time crawling on. Also, once the covers/ encasements are on, Bed Bugs can’t come out and they can’t go in! Bed bugs are known for hiding inside of your mattress and mainly your box spring. If you’re an aggressive sleeper or sleep with someone, buy two! Just in case one of them rips or tears. 2: Buy bed bug interceptors, put them on the legs of your bed frame, so when they try to climb up to your bed to bite you, they’ll get trapped! You can also put this on the legs of your furniture or on other bed frames in your home for PROTECTION. The first step to stop the infestation from getting worst, is to not let them bite you! That’s how they turn into adults and lay eggs, with a lot of blood consumption. 3: Buy CimeXa powder with a powder duster tool from a company like Amazon. Put some of the powder inside of the bed bug interceptors (the inner part where the legs of your bed frame or any other furniture would go, not the outer part.) These powders will legitimately kill all stages of bed bugs within a 1-3 day period, including every other insect as well! You should use this powder in corners, holes, cracks, under your mattress & under your furniture. But use a face mask with gloves when you’re applying the powder and do not over use it. This powder should be applied like dust, if you throw chunks of powder all over the place then insects will just find a way around it. This powder also stays where it’s been applied for A LONG TIME! Unless you vacuum it up with a strong vacuum or you clean it up with a liquid substance. If you do then you’ll need to reapply it but this powder destroy insects!!! Once they walk directly onto/ over it. A lot of people would mention DE, but apparently it causes breathing problems and takes longer to kill bed bugs compared to CimeXa. So buy CimeXa with a powder duster tool. 4: Keep your bed away from the wall! Make sure your sheets aren’t hanging off of the bed, or you don’t have a charger or anything that the bed bugs can climb onto without them using the legs of your bed frame. If you wake up and find your pillow or blanket on the floor, leave it there! Dont pick it up and use it to go back to sleep. 5: Buy ortho bed bug spray or crossfire! It kills all stages of bed bugs on contact! And it kills bed bugs even after it dries, by leaving traces of poison that sticks to their body, they have no resistant to it either. So spray these in areas where there’s bed bug activity or places where they’d most likely hide. Cracks, corners, holes, etc… remember that they hide CLOSE TO YOU! Rubbing alcohol is great too! But once it dries then it’s pretty much useless. Alcohol only kills stages of bed bugs on contact! Ortho and crossfire leaves behind poison that sticks to all insects. These sprays aren’t flammable and they will not stain or damage your furniture. So you can completely spray down your walls, floors, carpet, furniture, etc… without any negative effects. They do have a scent, but it’s not a super strong or bad scent at all.
Wow, comprehensive guide, thank you. Mark Robber's video on bed bugs also lists heat as a way to kill bed bugs on contact, with something like a steamer or clothes iron. He also mentions that they could hide in clothes, so washing on high heat is also a way to kill them, but not all clothes can be washed on Hot, so other methods should be used. This is also a problem because I also use my bed as a couch, with clothes on.
We had them like 7 years ago and I just saw one on my bed last night my brother got them first now they are in my room I’m scared because they were so hard to get rid of the first time 😢
I have set up a good amount of glue traps and I’m now certain the mice are avoiding them I even change the boards out often to keep them fresh. My first go around I didn’t use gloves so i thought that was the problem. Once I found out I’m supposed to use gloves I set out more traps with gloves on and still no success , any ideas ?
some tips with using glue boards: never bait them. Use the flat boards instead of plastic raised one (search amazon for 72MB glue boards by catch master) place the boards in long runways where they travel and land on them as theyre runnig. Or use mice snap traps with peanut butter, you might have more success that sticky traps.

Bro thank you I just found out I have a bed bug infestation so I’m going to get some advice to get them away

I once saw a bed bug baby that body looked transparent
They are like the size of a small sesame seed.
That nymph has fed, they are see through when born, and the first neal shows as a red dot in their body then, they turn grey/ creamy like that.. That's why the first hatchlings are microscopic, they're see thru, and very hungry..., and even when they have the red dot, very hard to see... Until they've already fed 4 it 5 times to get to a cream colored nymph
He failed to mention bed bugs can live for over a year even known to live 16 months without a food source. So you would have to have the encasement on for that long without opening it, cleaning it or hopefully not tearing it accidently or wearing through it. Just FYI. 😅😩😎
once the mattress/boxspring cover is on you never take it off. the high-quality covers are hard to tear but if that happens it should be taped or replaced.
Great comment. This should be pinned at the top of the comments!
Hurray, 🎉🎉🎉 I gave you your 1k likes😊
Rats are smarter
lol
Those are mf rats quit lying
Bro, I put peanut butter on the traps the mouses actually managed to eat everything without activate the traps I don't even know how it's possible because the traps are really sensitive, I mean sometimes just slightly moving them activate them but somehow they successfully ate the peanut butter without activating the traps, they're f ing smart.
same here. I've woken up so many times to find the traps licked clean that I have now declared war on these bastards.
Dealing with one mouse and he’s ate all the peanut butter and trigger 0 traps. Little guy is a genius
I'm dealing with the same problem. This mouse that I'm dealing with accidentally activated the trap, but it's speed saved the little guy. Like it f***** knows already. That mouse has every chance to just leave out where it came from but I guess it just wants to be around danger.
I found using the green bait blocks poison in them. They are eating them up but what I do is I get a big piece of foil spread it out on the counter and I buy some cheap peanut butter from dollar tree and I wear gloves and I smear it on to a paper plate and then I take each of them bait blocks and roll them in the peanut butter and I don’t touch any of it with my hands so they don’t pick up the human smell. I have tossed them under my place and I checked them every day and they are eating the bait so I find don’t handle the bait with your bare hands nor the peanut butter where are the gloves smear the peanut butter lightly over the green blocks and I just toss them underneath my place. They have eaten probably 15 or 20 of these blocks I’ll look under there and I can see that they are shredded and then the next day there’s nothing left so eventually they will die but they have outsmarted every wooden trap or plastic trap I have set they have set them off but it has not caught them it worked last year I killed 7 of them last year I don’t know they’re smart they figure it out I seen another video where you can use cornmeal and baking soda combination and put it out and they will eat that and that will kill them also. I was watching a video where a guy used a combination of Jiffy mix and I believe it was baking soda or baking powder I cannot remember but you can Google it I think it was baking powder if I remember right but I could be wrong. They cannot expel gases like humans cancer causing their intestines to explode and they die but I’m dealing with rats not mice I got rid of them for about seven or eight months but they recently came back just the last month because we are in the middle of rat season pretty heavy in fall.
Can u see the legs on the little ones? What about their antenna? I have a pic of something and I zoomed in. It doesn't look like it has antennas or legs. I may just be being paranoid. Been there, done that. Ny neighbors' garbage picked an infested couch. I was livid.. they came upstairs. Is it true they travel up? I read they are like a pyramid and travel to the peak of a house.
I dont find them easily, up-ended my mattress recently. The list of places is very long to search. I feel like I should nanny cam myself getting bitten lol
I have caught over 20 mice easily in my attic over the last year. There is one left, and he has avoided 35 traps of various kinds. I sealed the hole to the outside so I don’t know how he gets food and water. I have 3 cameras set up and the mouse avoids all traps… this is not an embellishment… how do I defeat the boss !?

I went to a new girl friend's house, i asked to use the bathroom, while i was standing over the toilet i noticed a lot of red spots on the bathroom walls which i believe were remnants of bed bugs, when i went into his living room she asked if i wanted to sit on the couch while i waited for her, i told her no thanks ill sit on the porch , i decided not to go there no more.

Thank! Been looking for this real life comparison
A strange insect is biting me during the day and night but they are pinpoint size and I found dozens in my bathroom as the majority of them were. That's what makes me think mine aren't bedbugs. There's nothing hiding on the mattress.
What color are they?
They usually under box spring
Could that be lice? Small head, big abdomen and 6 legs?
Probably nosee ems they are pinpoint size and they itch when they bite
How long can bedbug adults & nymphs survive without food/blood until they die from starvation? I read it can be 6-12 months average, which is disconcerting. That means if someone puts a full zip-up cover around the mattress, the bedbugs trapped inside could live there for that long.
Once the covers are put on, they should never be taken off unless they rip. If they rip they should be replaced.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 ... I will take that under advisement, but that still doesn't answer my question. Do you have any experience seeing how long they live in such a foodless & maybe airless environment such as a fully encasing bed cover?
I think i would burn that mattress and treat my entire house.
from my personal experience, the plastic snap traps work best. i've tried the wooden ones, the mice seem to be able to take the bait from them occasionally without setting it off. those circular kill & conceal things have never worked once for me. glue traps work but are cruel. ultimately those plastic snap traps seem to be the most effective. i've never had the bait stolen from one, there is a kill every single time... once again, this is all anecdotal
I have 3 kind of traps. Guess I have a smart mouse.
sometimes they can be. try changing the bait to a small piece of cotton, chocolate, or a raisin.
So the bait didn’t kill them?
it will kill some. but this is in a heavily wooded area and there is an endless rodent population so exclusion will be best.
I have words all around me and I have two of those bait stations like you have. I’m using that FINAL bait and rats and mice won’t touch it. Any ideas?
