Great embassy cover👍
That was fun !
I actually had DJ copy of this record when I was a little girl. It was my favorite.
Stan Freberg opens his radio show sounding like homer Simpson
Butiful❤❤
I remember as a kid playing this on the 7" Extended play vinyl (HMV 7EG 8265) which also included The Dam Busters March, Reach For The Sky & The Jolly Airman. Happy memory from childhoood.
Two such fabulous songs! Think I still have the record somewhere.
I had this as a child.❤🎶❤
Good old embassy records 👍
❤
Brings back childhood memories! Enjoyed hearing this theme once again.
LEGEND

A-MEN
Another great embassy cover👍
Rick never quit. Performer till the end.
Great message in song!
Sounds like it's session singer Laura Lee, It's a similar but less bombastic recording than the one she did on Top Of The Pops Volume 4.
Remember listening to this at the time, I've had Uncle Nasty's poem in my head ever since, "As my dislike of you lot grows, you're getting further up my nose." 😅
Good old embassy records.great records at the time when you had two hit on one single👍
Great cover. I think a lot of the embassy covers were as good or better that the original 👍
This is for my little brother Douglas Smith who was born in Glasgow in 1955 😊

"The Wild Ones" is the theme from Marlon Brando's movie in 1953. His Biker Gang was called "The Beetles."
Powerful
Never actually met Jack, but got to know his drummer - Ronnie Verell - in the 1960's. Smashing guy, but like most musicians of the day, don't lend him money (ha-ha-ha).
love it thankyou! 🙂 x july 2024..
Ooo.ooo forget him just yes yes ooo😶😶velvet🌈
Reminds beautiful California sunset
Great Ringtone
Only one reason why anyone is watching this … bonafide or red herring ?
Good old embassy records 👍
Such a great song!!
Very nice indeed!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good to hear this on RUclips. A song from the 1956 film 'The March Hare' that I always liked since I saw the picture on release at the Newcastle Odeon. Although Jean Campbell didn't sing it in the film this is a very nice version. She was a member of the 1950s group The Keynotes and made several solo recordings.. The other side of this Oriole record has the film's theme tune The March Hare with Joseph McNally and the George Mitchell Singers. Both songs composed by Philip Green, a prolific film composer.
Thanks 🙏
My dad conducted this
Thanks, i haven’t been able to find this on here for ages.
Quite an anthem! Uplifting and positive - we could use more "modern" music with this message [if not exact style, granted, for most].
"Spencer Ross" aka Robert Mersey, was Percy Faith Orchestra's main arranger of music for Mr. Faith at Columbia Records. He tried a few times to emulate Percy Faith's successful easy listening orchestra music formula on his own, and did very well, but had no record company or studio backing like Percy Faith did. "Tracy's Theme" released on Columbia Records circa December 1959 was a huge success, comparable to Percy Faith's excellent 1960 studio version of Max Steiner's "Theme from A Summer Place".
Entered the UK Chart on 18 January 1957 peaking at #4 on 15 February 1957
Perfect Sunday listening , many thanks for the upload.
