Switch oled should have a price cut. It’s a 7 year old system and its value isn’t what it use to be

I’m thinking of getting the TOTK OLED special edition, but it’s still around retail price from what I can tell. Should I just bite the bullet now or wait until around Black Friday and Cyber Monday to see if it goes on sale?

I'm also looking forward to Echoes of Wisdom. :) For some cheap but solid indie games to get digitally, I recommend, roughly in order of best to least best: Cosmic Star Heroine Strikey Sisters Shipped 2048 Battles GrandGuilds Super Battle Cards Mushroom Quest Mushroom Savior iirc These were all around 1, 2, or 3 dollars if you wait for them to be on sale. edit: On the Switch btw.

With Doom, Red Dead Redemption, Vampyr, The Witcher 3, No Man’s Sky, and several others. I’m surprised Activision never tried porting a singular Call of Duty even a standalone one on the Switch. It could have been CoD Mobile or a port of the PS Vita version of Black Ops Declassified. There was a lot of options to actually port it. Even if it was the cloud version of it. They would have made a lot of money with that, especially since Steam Deck can only run it through dual booting or getting Windows OS on it

Having bought Switch Online game vouchers when they were offering 4x the gold coins, that works out at 2 games for £33.60 each.

That's not a bad price at all for the new zelda game. I remember paying $49.99 for the original legend of zelda on nes way back in 1986.

I had preordered first on Amazon for £42. But then came across a 25% off code from Curry’s for Zelda. So I bought it for £37.49 from Curry’s including delivery. So cancelled the Amazon order. I was quite happy with that deal. It arrived on launch day with DPD.

I have had a Switch Lite since 2020 which has been amazing for Animal Crossing, but I just ended up picking up the Tears of the Kingdom Switch from Japan purely to play Echoes on my monitor and not on the small screen. xD

I allready have the oled model and the normal one. Im thinking about buying the Hyrule edition of the Switch lite. And over the years I collected about 400 physical games for this amazing console... even if there is a new Switch comming out, I will allways continue collecting for the old Switch. Guess I am a little fanboy :D But I can recommend the Steam Deck, too :D Greetings and cheers from Germany!

This is the first video ive seen where the collector has played nearly every game and played them enough to speak about them. So màny videos where 90 percent of them are sealed and the other 10 percent theyve played the games for a little bit.

Im with you on the n64. Its my favorite system to date. I used to wake up early for school and get ready real fast so i had time to run through the single player for smash 64

For racing fans, the Gear Club games have good motion steering. They capture the feeling of speed well too.

Indies are everything! Definitely go play Cuphead! Such a challenging yet amazing experience. Highly recommend Hades, Dead Cells, Dredge, Dave the Diver(not sure if it’s an indie but it sure feels like one), Spiritfarer, Yoku’s Island Express, Golf Story…I mean the list goes on and on and on. Great video!

Hades is definitely one absolute beast of a game you haven't mentioned Sam. There are so many Indie games out there to get stuck into.

Amazing list, Sam! Shovel Knight is such a classic, I remember getting the physical 3DS version back in 2015, honestly love that game!

Not gonna lie, I've heard people slightly talk about Doki Doki literature club before...but had I had NO IDEA what the hell it actually was. You've intrigued me. Stardew Valley and Shovel Knight will forever be top tier Indie games. Solid list here man!

Only console as a PC gamer I give a damn about. Even with the steamdeck existing I prefer the switch for its superior battery life and stellar first party. Not to mention the easy multiplayer anywhere. Have the OLED and love it.
