    This looks really interesting the pot doesn’t have the fins so doubt it will be as fast and economical as a jetboil but that wind shield will help and the fact it’s remote and can still be used as a regular cooker is great I’m surprised I’ve only just seen these and they are not more popular.

    I love this tent so much. I've had it for a couple years, easily my favorite. The only thing I don't like about it is that there's not a lot of mesh on the inner. It seems less breathable. Although, I've seen what looks like a new version of this tent with more mesh. I would love it if that inner worked with mine.

    Thanks for the review.👍 Seems you and I think similarly. I tend to want about a litre of water anyway. 500ml for instant noodles etc, and 500ml for a large mug of tea/coffee/instant soup. So by boiling a litre of water, I DO get a drink and a meal. Currently (mid-November 2023) the Fyrestom PCS is £39 at Go Outdoors (+£5 "annual membership"), free delivery. Seems neat and compact, and not too heavy. If I am in the car, I can bring all sorts of stuff, but if I am just out on foot, I gotta carry it on my ageing back.🤣 [I wonder if there is a new model coming out, and the existing stock is being cleared at out very attractive prices?] Certainly £44 for the PCS incl "membership" and delivery seems VERY attractive. Chuck in a modestly priced wind shield (e.g. OEX Windblocka, currently at Go Outdoors for £6.80, and £50.80 gets a very attractive set-up. (£45.80 if you are already a Go Outdoors "member") Meanwhile, on the well-known shopping and entertainment site (starting with "A"), the PCS generally still sells for about £55. So, effectively, if you go to Go Outdoors rather than "A*****", even if you buy membership, you get a wind shield and enough change for some tea bags for the same money.

    Still got the ribble 3? I got one a few weeks ago, not been out in it yet but now weathers getting nice I will do. Quick questions, do you think camp bed will fit inside? Ideally I'd want one with a sim ontop, but not sure I'd they are too high and would touchthe ends of the tent. And also, is there head room inside to sit on a chair in there aswell as under the porch?

    • @camptube7621
      @camptube7621 Год назад

      Mmm. I think the less tall camp bed would be fine. Over 6ft in length you maybe will have your toes touching the sides but as it’s an inner tent there would be no issues as there is a large gap between the bedroom and the outside tent. No risk of damp transfer. Personally I find the mats more comfy and less roll off risk. I stopped using beds a long time ago. As for head room, no. It’s not tall enough to sit in the porch. If you watch my original review you will see the dimensions better my friend. My next top secret tent review has one which you can do all this 😉

You can get a good set for Around £30 also good top tip is to buy your summer clothes in the at the end of the summer season and buy your winter clothing at the end of the winter season .
