Yes brother/sister it was definitely a Novus Ordo Holy Mass, but it appears to have been celebrated quite reverently, and our Lord was just as present there (by His immensity, sacramentally, and by grace in the souls of the baptized) as He is in the Tridentine Mass.

I share these sentiments entirely & pray for the same intentions. The universality of our faith shines throughout this video of Holy Mass, such that I instantly recognized the melody of the Mode IV Alleluia (& other hymns, at Communion for example) then sang along with goosebumps & a heart full of praise. Beyond Mass, they may have the same hopes & dreams as we do, but many of our crosses pale in comparison to theirs. God give them the strength, hope & opportunities they need.

I am slightly puzzled as well. Apparently there are six in Pyongyang.

There is no such things as Catholic Church in North Korea. It's just fake to show visitor that there is freedom in the country. It's even forbidden to bring a Bible in North Korea ! The Christians there face labour camp,v torture and even death. There have to practice in secret. Good bless them 🙏
These are real Catholics unlike in the west who claim to be Catholics in name only but not in faith

Korean Buddhism is alive and kicking. It is highly regarded in Buddhist Asia and leading Western Countries like the USA, Germany, etc. Korean Buddhism is a Missionary Religion that has established beautiful Korean Buddhist Temples in Western Countries. Korean cuisine also provides nutritious Vegetarian food that satisfies the growing demand worldwide for plant-based food. Korean Buddhist 'Temple Stay' program is popular among Western Tourists.

I am really happy to see Carholics in North Korea celebrate with such reverence to our Lord Jesus Christ in the mass. Hope that our Lord will always keep your faith strong and a good example to Catholics all over the world. I hope that our women here in the Philippines could dress modestly the way you do and learn how to wear the veil. God Bless you brothers and sisters. May your light shine throughout the world and become a beacon of hope.

Marx believed that religion and any form of ideology would disappear once proletarian taken power of his own consciousness. So, Feuerbach was wrong too, since in theory north koreans might not be able to see injustice and reality contradictions. It looks Materialism is finished and Hegel was not that wrong like Marx. 😂
