Perception is strong but everything here in this vid definitely works to get around. Though it is annoying dealing with people who spam it they are even easier to punish because you know what their defensive option is going to be

@@eighthlegofthephantomtroup1842 I would go into Episode Battle and start fighting the CPU there and try to go for super counters against their super counter just to get used to reacting then take it online once you get confortable and get used to the delay there after getting the timing down pact

if you mean the initial hit the cpu usually does a fully charged smash attack first

@@snapjaw2 that is uncounterable unfortunately if they get you with a super perception that dmg is guarenteed

@@CoercitioYT I think revenge counter works for that. We'd still take the damage but at least might get to combo them back.

When you’re in matches online you want to try and find the timing for Z Counter and Super Counter the timing will be different depending on the delay. But once you find the timing it’s just about inputting the button on that timing. I’d recommend if you can find someone who has a bit of delay connecting with you and play against them a bit to get used to input delay.

@@snapjaw2 in a way yes, if you have a 5 bar connection with someone the latency is almost unnoticeable though

Super counters help win vanish wars because it drains ur opponents ki while keeping yours the same

The latency isn’t that bad it’s like a quarter of a second added and tbh all the times u miss cause u did it too late will prolly land even more

@@ghosttaki8547 it depends on your connection in online matches but if you can get it consistently offline as long as the delay isn’t ridiculous you can get it online

@@suave2973 Not anymore you can just hold up and time your square press but if you miss you want to let go and then rehold and time it again

Agreed 100%. This game punishes you for being agressive, being defensive is much safer and costs less ki somehow... Just wait for your opponent to rush you and perception check them or just side step

Yup... I just played a match where the dude just ran away and held perception the whole game... I LOVE being aggressive. I'm a super aggressive rushdown player when it comes to any type of fighting games... and I'm starting to realize you just can't be aggressive in sparking zero. no matter how you mix up, no matter how many mindgames you try playing, there is always a better defense to my offense. When people use the Ultra Perception tech, there's EVEN LESS offensive options you can take to counter it... the strat is to just stall the opponent the whole game instead of having fun anime fights.

I just dont play Singles Ranked, I enjoy DP a lot more

ever since the game put me at B rank bc i got so many points for being under 50% wr idk that's all anyone does and it's so mind numbing and idk how they recover instantly to perception the 2nd move of combos 😭 good game lame players

I would say try to bait it out and step around it wont work everytime but eventually the opponent will catch on and try to step your step, then you can read them and punish again

Because it shouldnt be one button move but two like in classic mode they just spam circle and rarely defend , they do perception without even thinking , devs thought perception will be like an times counter meanwhile people just spam one button hoping they'll get it, but yeah its kinda boring way, but in this game youbeother meet perception spamers ,or pussie* thay gonsparking spam blasts ans throw inblockable thay deal 25k dmg and they think they are goats, fkin clowns 🤡 dont even wanna walk about all the other cheesers, with android grabs etc , and giant characters spammers, people mentality is off charts, such a turn off for playing this game, cheesing their way for some meaningless points, instead of learning the game and have fun🤡🤡🤡 ​@@xander7551
