Seems to bethe fashion this year, to drive like an idiot! I been tailgated twice on motorway/duel carrigeway, people overtaking cyclists narrowly avoiding me. last few years only issues is red light jumpers, but now so many bad drivers. and finaly the amount of people using a phone while driving has increased. not using like talking, but actually looking down at it!! i think us bikers need to start reporting people get them to retake the test.

What the van driver did was wrong, but it looked more like he wasn't paying attention when the van in front slowed to turn, he probably looked up, saw the first van bang in front of him and reacted without thinking to avoid rear ending him 😮

Not a question of "think bike". This driver wouldn't have seen a car coming. He was tailgating . If he had hung back he would have had a better view of the road.

Oh he didn´t mean to over take, he was not paying attention and had not realised the vehicle in front was slowing to a stand still almost and was going to smash in to the back of it, he avoided smashing in to the back of it, not intentionally over taking, so no need to think bike, just pay bloody attention to the vehicle in front. Idiot should be banned, he almost killed you man by his lack of attention.
