The Fife Circle Line is a different route from the one between Edinburgh Waverley and Dundee. The Fife Circle serves towns in the Fife region and loops around places like Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, and Dunfermline. It doesn't go as far as Dundee or Perth. The direct trains from Edinburgh Waverley to Dundee do not follow the Fife Circle; they take a more direct route via the Forth Rail Bridge and key stations like Kirkcaldy and Leuchars.
