Mami I love this!😇 I come from a Black/Latino family and I definitely can relate! I've learned to spend time with those who know how to love me back in and outside the family! The rest you can love from a distance but you really just stop giving a F about how you're viewed after trying to help everyone or work it out etc. Its them that have a problem with you not you to them! I definitely felt like i raised my parents especially my mom. its a clear indication that some people are just not ready to grow or maybe never will but your higher calling was that we were chosen! I've been making mostly Shorts on my RUclips channel because my Shorts get orders of magnitude more views than most of my long form videos. Plus, making and posting shorts is a LOT easier. Because of this, however, my "watch hours" are way too low, so that even though I'm almost up to 1K subscribers, I nowhere near being monetized. I really need to start making long form videos and stop caring about how few views they get (for now, anyway). I have no shortage of ideas for videos (I have a list with 189 ideas and counting), I just have difficulty making myself put in the effort and start. I'm currently unemployed, so I have an abundance of free time, so maybe I should do a 30 day challenge myself and make a new long form video every day! I already make multiple shorts every day (I've made over 1.4K videos in less than a year), so why not long videos, too? I really, REALLY want to be a professional RUclipsr because "regular" work isn't working for me.
