Harley SERIOUSLY needs to use like the Ducati Street Fighter as a template and redo the SportsterS or Nightster or call it whatever....Because until they do? No sale for me! Even though I so want an American built motorcycle I wont compromise! It does not have to be the best but it has to be an honest effort! A REAL naked sportsbike with full brakes proper dimensions and ergonomics.....LIGHTER weight! Quick Shifter/blipper. Otherwise they have nothing that competes! How can I not just continue buying euro or japanese motorcycles? idk how Harley is going to survive if they dont really get with it and stop trying to satisfy their "base" which is rapidly getting too old to ride anyway....well so am I which really upsets me if Harley never builds me a bike before its too late! Indian appears to be trying much harder with their FTR1200 (? I think?) I will say this latest platform of Harley engines is FINALLY something acceptable or mostly so....they are so close IF they would just tke the plunge and finally DO IT RIGHT!!

So dissapointed that Harley (in their typical fashion) sacrifices practicality of performace for the sake of supposed looks and profit margin? I feel like the dimensions are centered around asthetics rather than BEST for handling Obviously the other manufacturing and racing have worked out the optimal tire and wheel sizes (17" front and rear with 120/70 front and 180 or 190 rear) Also what is with the penny pinching for BRAKES?? Seriously?? ONE rotor up front! And where are things like quick shifter and blipper? Also It looks to me like wheelbase and suspension choices were chosen by marketing people NOT engineers! Mid controls? No so mid yes even the nightster barely qualifies! It's like they tried to make "mid" as forward as they could get away with to call mid....those need moved up and farther back for cornering ground clearance and correct body positioning. In other words Harley SHOULD have built the Boulevard! (was that the name of the model the latest CE stupidly dumped?)

I’ve got the Fast Johnny Road Glide and I love it. Agreed that the SG or RG is personal preference 100%. Just came back from Sturgis 2024 and there were quite a few of the SG, RD, and Low Rider ST Fast Johnny versions there. I got lots of great comments on the bike and am sure you will too. Great video and congrats on your bike!

Enhorabuena , tengo una street glide con motor 114, y es una maquina increible en todos los sentidos, como bien dices y coincido contigo, el unico problema es el peso en parado; pero con el tiempo te acabas acostumbrado, y te adaptas a ello. Aun te queda mucho por descubrir, no te imaginas lo que es capaz de hacer (aunque no lo parezca) esa moto en curvas . Te recomiendo mas adelante si te animas, que para tu altura seria perfecto, poner un manillar de 14" que es la medida perfecta que no sobresale , esta en el limite del batwing. Mido 1,82 cm, y es increible el cambio, aparte ya no solo de la posicion que es mil veces mejor, sino que por la medida del manillar hace palanca y en parado y a velocidades bajas la mueves muchiiiiisimo mas facil. Un Abrazo desde Valencia.

There are many great rides around SE Ohio. Living 15 minutes allows me the opportunity to ride 555 a few times a year. You could spend a week down here riding. It would be time well spent. Nice to see Harleys doing more than cruising. Love the music and the FF bits.

The rear lites on my street glide are like MJ's. I put led lites on front and back of mine as well as the headlight. Much better!!

Enhorabuena pareja, he tenido varias Harley, varias marcas , ahora tengo una Street glide de 2019 con el 114 desde hace 1 año , y para mi no existe una moto igual, JAMAS te arrepentiras, a disfrutar !

Aquí en n España, pinchas una rueda y cambias el neumático… como os las gastáis en USA!!! Fuera de bromas, enhorabuena por esa nueva moto, es espectacular!! Y me encanta que puedas mantener tu matrícula, otra cosa que aquí tampoco sucede…
