Hello! My name is Mimi and I am more than just a scientist / aspiring barrister / columnist / Chinese / Brit...!
I graduated with a Doctorate degree (DPhil) and received a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience and Pharmacology at the University of Oxford, moved into technology consulting in Cambridge, fundraised for a Harvard Kennedy School of Government initiative in Boston, moved back to work in Business Development for the Chinese University of Hong Kong, fundraised some more for the University of Oxford, stumbled upon a Medical Affairs position at GlaxoSmithKline Hong Kong, during which I did a law-conversion GDL and sealed it with a barrister training course. I have been a columnist for the Hong Kong Economic Journal since 2009.
All of these experiences made me appreciate the different sides of things, my inadequacy and the need to keep learning. This channel aims to break down the WORK and THINKING behind the scenes! =)
