I love this scene for multiple reasons. Primarily, I love how seriously it is taken. Vegeta doesn't show boat. He doesn't waste moves. Every strike is meant to damage and land perfectly while his face is ice cold. I really wish they had allowed him to win in the end. Vegeta has been through more character development than any other character in the show, and they keep shafting him because Goku has to be the hero.

They really robbed vegeta of his moment to avenge his people and more importantly to him, His Sayian Pride. But I gotta say, it still feels amazing seeing him beat frieza's ass.
This is Vegeta versing against a very exhausted Golden Frieza..... would have been more entertaining for Frieza to be at 100 percent with the fight but this was good I guess.

He would have demolished full stamina Golden Frieza. It's been said a few times in the series: when Vegeta and Goku are the same level (both SS Gods, for example) that Vegeta is stronger.

In my opinion this wasn't a fair fight. Frieza was already tired and weakened from fighting Goku while Vegeta was fresh and still at full power. Here is a scenario, if Vegeta had gone to Earth alone to fight and stop Frieza, this battle would have been completely different. It was even stated by Whis and Beerus that it would take both Goku and Vegeta at the same time to defeat a full powered Golden Frieza. Vegeta would have been killed had he fought alone.
Joseph Thompson No he wouldn't. Whis never said that. He said they could easily defeat Freeza if they worked together. If Vegeta fought Freeza first, he would still win because he would've figured out Freeza's weakness, then proceed to exploit that & beat the shit out of him to death.
