I have the FOV MH-47G 160th SOAR version. It looks amazing but requires substantial assembly of details and requires glue. It was a royal pain to assemble and resulted in much swearing and headaches. But the end result is great. Corgi is very difficult to find in my area and they seem to favor British variations.

The right and left no longer just disagree on issues, they don't even live in the same plane of reality. What you say about the Harris / Trump debate is a perfect example of this. She DID NOT do well, she performed terribly, that debate was a major win for Trump.

You’re a breath of fresh air in the gun community, man. Very few realize that both parties are an arm of the corporate machine and the military industrial complex. They don’t work for us, they work for their short term interests. Your recollection of history is spot on too, the only thing I think you missed was that there was a 2020 primary (in which Sanders won the first 3 contests in a historic first). They robbed him of the nomination by pulling out all their candidates besides Biden and Warren on Super Tuesday, when Sanders was heavily favored to win the nomination at that point.

Your political views very often align with mine, which means I obviously think very highly of you as a political commentator, lol. Could not agree more--Donald Trump is a disgrace to the nation, but he didn't win this election, the Democrats lost it. It was all over when Biden decided not to step aside (like he said he would!). Combine that with the DNC wagging its finger at anyone who dared bring up his age, followed by THAT debate performance--it was over and done with. And the DNC is so beholden to its stupid foot-shooting symbolic identitarian commitments that there wasn't even a conversation about the appropriateness of running Harris. It was simply decided that this is what we're doing, get on board immediately or you're probably some manner of bigot. Hubris. Hubris is the only word for it. You'd think that that the Dems would've learned a lesson from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but then again, if they learned from their mistakes, they wouldn't be Democrats.

I don’t like Trump but I agree with the reasons behind why people chose him. Living conditions are stagnate. We’re all working longer hours, and our mental and physical health is suffering. There’s a diminished sense of community, a diminished sense of dignity and pride. People feel used and preyed upon. Things like Covid, and war have made us more insecure; made the world less safe. And political elites have continued to ignore all these concerns and allow them to fester - it’s only going to radicalize the population Ordinary citizens don’t have any influence over policy anymore. Whether a policy is supported or opposed by people with middle or low incomes is trivial because policy makers are only responsive to the ultra rich and their private associations. We end up as bystanders to the process. Not as participants or shapers. Sometimes middle class Americans might like a policy direction sure, but it’s not because they have any influence over government decision making it’s only coincidental. Their personal interests just happen to line up with some CEO’s interests. This shouldn’t confuse us as to the essence of where policy is coming from. Of course, our government was set up to make change difficult but not impossible. It’s become impossible. Because those powerful groups or actors know how to game it. They have all the requisite networks built up; they can ensure they’re getting a piece of the action. This is why, whether it’s a republican socio-economic program or a democrat socio-economic program, the end result is essentially the same. The money flows upwards. There are certainly some middle class and lower class people benefitting from certain programs but the way the policies are structured, whatever money the government spends eventually circulates back into the hands of the few. The money culture in Washington has truly gotten obscene. There’s a money primary that occurs even before the electorate have a chance to vote. Political contributions are concentrated in the hands of fewer and richer people. Last I checked, there are around 130 donors who contribute more to political campaigns than all other private donations combined. Trump has really tapped into the genuine anger that people feel over the way in which the system favors the few. But I think they are sadly duped into thinking Trump is for the little guy. He himself is a creature of plutocracy. He wants to beat his rivals and become the boss of the bosses. He’s too vain to care about the hard technical problems of government reform. But if his administration can’t tackle the hard problem of plutocracy, it’s at their own hazard at this point. The music is slowing. The pressure is mounting.

All I'll say about the political situation is, I can have a conversation with lefties and keep calm and bring up facts and reasonable solutions. The conversation is usually me being interrupted and them speaking louder hoping in some way it makes them right lol. All I hear is talking points from the view and CNN. Now, I know this is not every one but many of them unfortunately and to me that is very telling.

A funny anecdote about gunshots and deer, I was a member of a range and every now-n-then we had to call ceasefire for the deer crossing the hot range at 300-400 yards. I called them first responder deer, the ones that run toward the sound of gun shots.

There's actually a Canon novel thrawn alliances, where vader and thrawn do a mission together. They basically share command, and but heads quite a bit (more subtly in thrawn's case).
