I’m so sorry you lost the appeal the spare room tax is so unfair. I pay for two spare rooms but if I move they would only give me a one bed place so couldn’t have grandchildren stay plus I would loose my secure tenancy which is a big thing to give up. I have fantastic neighbour’s who help me a lot and with my health the thought of having to move where I know no one terrifies my.

What are you complaining about? You've had a couple of trips out to hospital, what more could anyone want?!? Seriously though, I've said it before, but it won't stop me saying it again. Where you get your strength and resiliency from I don't know. Its truly inspirational and makes me want to be a better person. And on top of all that has been thrown at you, you then find time to think of others and create a charity event for people to enjoy and benefit from. You have a big heart Lainie and no amount of Mounjaro will ever be able to diminish that! X

Hi, great to hear the Mounjaro is doing its job😊 How frustrating though the issues with the hoist, sometimes things just start to feel ridiculous don’t they, many years ago I had a ‘Friday afternoon washer’ on the 4th fix the guy couldn’t have been gone long enough to have left our street, at least that’s how it felt 😂 when exactly the same problem happened again😤😤 the damn door catch wasn’t securing so it wouldn’t work. Different to what you’re going through of course but boy did it cause stress. Anyhow, I hope things improve and the hoist is up and running properly very soon. 😊😊

Sorry to hear about your having to stay in hospital Lainie, glad the surgeon was so skilled but sorry he couldn’t give you a local and that it was so painful and sore. Then they had to do a risk assessment yet nobody can sort out your bedroom tax. Mind you, nobody goes in to see your accommodation. Completely infuriating. I think you’re right to go ahead with the tribunal as your rep is a prat. We’ve all got our fingers crossed and congrats on the 8 mins but sorry you missed Jenny’s wedding. Was lovely that you got a visit from the happy couple, what a fab surprise. Dylan is a tall husband with a beautiful bride. Lovely photos. Glad that the new diabetes drug, which I can’t spell, has helped, it sounds amazing the way your blood sugar has plummeted. Very interesting. Thanks for the catch up.

so glad to hear the Monjaro is having such a positive effect for you, with what sounds like minimal side effects. Your blood sugar numbers are finally not scary, and the reduction in appetite and "food noise" is just an added bonus.

I am so happy for you with the Monjaro helping with your addiction. Addiction and eating disorder is so hard. Cravings are awful. Addictions i have struggled with too. Great your blood sugar is improving significantly. Looking so positive! Get well soon with your abscess. Bummer to go to A and E and hospital with all the delays. Always shocked at hospital food, its enough to make one ill. Its bonkers! So glad youre back home now. So thoughtful of your niece, she looked stunning♡ Speedy recovery ♡

Hi, I’m a new subscriber, saw you on an old vlog of Carla’s. I’m so sorry for all the horrid things you’re going through at the moment, life at times can be so damn tough😢. On the subject of Mounjaro, I’m on that medication, I buy it myself as our GP practise rarely prescribes it, I was pre diabetic,vastly overweight,high blood pressure and lots of oedema. He asked if I could afford to buy it and told me if I could I should do it and that he wished he could prescribe it for majority of his patients who were like me. I must say from the first dose it was like I’d been given a magic pill, ALL food noise stopped,no more waking up thinking ‘I’m going to have a better day today,I won’t eat until lunch, I won’t have anything high sugar or fat etc etc etc . All stopped, I now ( 3months in) only ever think about food when I’m hungry,it’s like it switched off all urges for food. I hope it has the same effect for you,it really is a game changer, yes it has its risks but in my 60’s my biggest risk is how much excess weight I’m carrying. I wish you all the best in your journey and look forward to updates, I’ll keep everything crossed that life starts going your way now,you’ve put up with enough.❤️

hi lainey ,i have a machine and its happened to me ,sometimes when i take it off i get a perfumey smell in the mask ,it is face cream ,only happened now and then ,but seems ok to use ,keep your chin up hun x

Beans and lentils are magic for blood sugars. Its called the second meal effect. If you eat them it lowers the glycemic index of whatever you eat. I eat them daily, tinned prepared organic ones are the easiest. Great in a salad plate. They are also very healthy for healing and very filling. Fructose also doesnt effect your blood sugars and are also very healing. I get all the frozen fruits and berries from waitrose as they are the best quality in my experience, best value for money and always available to me in the freezer. Medjool dates are so tasty, healing and good for type 2. You are so strong because you always keep going and you have had so many challenges. All the best ♡
