Just got a brand new set of marketplace for 850
Hey for your front wheel are the wheel spacers the same for your dirt tire and the supermoto? Like are they interchangeable if u let’s say lost a set?
3:40 are those orange you call bearings,spacers?so you can fit a big tyre?because I put on my wrf450 2009 a 150/60 and it is slightly rubbing on the side .I've seen people recommending to offset the rear wheel or put spacers for the sprocket.
to avoid the chain issues.. just have the chain setup so it's towards the front of your setup on dirt wheels.. and then you have lots of space to tighten with the smaller sprocket on the street setup.. I don't change my chain.. just swap wheels and front fender :)
Why aren't you using a cush drive hub? A lot of shock will be transferred directly to your gearbox.
They have cush drive built into the clutch.. I've put 33,000kms on my 2018 500 with Supermoto wheels and never had a problem.. and I do ride it !

was that an open throttle pull? Cause I can get my wr450 to around 180kmph, 13 44 gearing too. Maybe you have some restrictions on yours?

buyer beware . the set i ordered had spokes in front of the rotor holes so was impossible to mount rotors. took them to my local mx place and they said the wrong spokes was used that had the wrong bend. after contacting seller they told me it was ok lol... needles to say you get what you pay for and i will never purchase these garbage wheels again..

Finnish professional stunt rider Arttu Stenberg is using VMX wheels on his supermoto so I guess the wheels hold up that kind of usage.

Had to get a new chain just because the rear sprocket was bigger. Better to get a new one anyway so the chain wears evenly with the sprocket!
Do you know if a xtx660 would be better for this?

Not bad! Longer trips can get a bit uncomfortable with the seat and vibrations (a sixth gear would be nice) but with the right sprocket setup it's manageable
With 1.7 you can get Warp 9 set with custom color, tubeless, tires, sprocket, rotors, & possibly a chain…
Not here in Australia unfortunately!

I would like to express my disappointment with the state of your fork guards. They are filthy. And how exactly does the presence of a ferret help in the cable replacement process? Based on my experience ferrets are vicious biting machines with, at best, an only rudimentary knowledge of motorcycle maintenance and repair.

Hello great Vid, just wondering if you used the 4.25 rear wheel or the 5.00? After riding these do you have any recommendations before I order mine? I think I want the 5's unless there's a good reason why I shouldn't. I'm run a 130/90/18 Motoz now so I'm 98% sure they'll fit. Thanks for any help
Those wheels are 4.25, I've never ran a 5" rear but I've heard they're better suited for track because they have better grip around corners but less manoeuvrability. Good luck!
I run a 5".. it's tricky to get over the rear break caliper but still do-able.. 2018 - 500

The rear fender straps should go through the D rings prior to going to the rear buckle of the bag. This provides more latteral "tightening" of the metal hooks to the fender itself. I have these bags and love them; they are very secure on my bike. When I fitst got them, while snugging them down, one of the buckle's threading broke. I contacted Nelson-Rigg and they sent me a new bag right away after I sent them photos. Great customer service in my opinion.
