Inaugural Mayo County Council Cathaoirleadh Award 2021 - Joint Winner Contribution to the Arts - Foxford Comhaltas (Admiral Brown)
The Admiral Brown branch is based in Foxford and has members from all around Mayo. Comhaltas is a voluntary organisation with over 400 branches worldwide. The Foxford branch branch has well over 140 members, making it one of the biggest branches in Mayo. Most members are quite young and encouraging these young members is one of the main focuses of the branch.
