DIY: Easy Hay Steamer (under $200)
Wyoming has dust sensitivity and needs soaked hay to avoid heavy coughing fits. As winter approaches Jaime seeks to avoid frozen hoses, water tubs and ice patches on the deck by investigating hay steamers.
Turns out you can make one for very low cost compared to purchasing a ready made unit, and Matt put one together in a matter or minutes once the materials were assembled.
In this video we run our first hay batch through and see how it might work in lieu of the rinsing and straining process that has made Wyoming’s cough completely disappear this summer.

Adventure Box: Mustang gets better on the trailer!
Просмотров 60Месяц назад
Adventure Box- Wyoming has successfully traveled in a trailer almost a year ago for relocation, two months ago for Mark Langley’s 4-day clinic, and a month ago for Harry Whitney’s 5-day clinic. Over the weekend was her first time traveling for leisure! She took a 5 mile ride for a short walk along the river and then returned home in the same day for practice. It has been an 8-year journey to ge...

Wyoming’s work continues…

In this session I continue getting back to working semi-regularly with (Wild BLM Mustang) Wyoming. I’ve had her in my herd over six years and have had mixed success and lots of going backward and sideways over the time. I’ve worked from many different paradigms from natural horsemanship to positive reinforcement and tried approaches that stay more soft to trying to firm up and demand more compl...

We get back to some real time working with Wyoming this spring. It’s been 5 months since she’s been out of the yard. We do a check in to see where things stand: haltering, trailer loading, tacking up, and riding. This video goes alongside the blog post: The Horse that was Never Wrong (for one day…) Hopehorsemanship.com
Hello from Uganda: Situka Communitiy Foundartion
Просмотров 12Год назад
Hello! I was welcomed to Uganda in 2022 and had an amazing time riding along the Nile on some fabulous horses among the other activities I engaged in. One connection I made was with Ibrahim who runs a community foundation to uplift his village outside of Jinja. I have since joined their advisory board and support them all I can. I have seen such great work come out of his organization and watch...

Piney mountain ride-along with green to 100
Interesting. I'll bet they enjoyed it being warm, too. That might work for goats, too. The background music was a bit distracting, though. Thanks.
What great progress! I love watching the way that you are working through her issues. I miss reading your old blogs on Green to 100!
@@leahcoombs4687 aww thanks! I am still writing on hope horsemanship but it’s been less often recently as I’m doing so much processing internally lately!
Well done!
@@mattalynhughes965 thanks!!! I’m so pleased with the direction we are going!
Yay!
🎉 it’s exciting!
John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Whoop whoop!! What a different horse from the past!! Exciting to see her continue to improve!!
I know!! I feel the same way… trying to update more videos to show how she’s still progressing!
What a great video and inspirational ride.
What beautiful scenery! What a great ride you both did 💕
Beautiful x What great kindness and perseverance you have had with your amazing horse Wyoming. 👍
Thank you so much! I really think she’s worth it!
Great progress!!!
❤ so awesome to see her growth
AWESOME!!!
You’re darn lucky the wind didn’t come up. I’m surprised that ride management would take such a risk.
Greetings from the Andes Mountains of Peru. We lived in Greensboro , NC before our call ti serve among the Quechua people of Peru. Would love to do an endurance ride however I ride a Peruvian Paso.
Wow! Peru sounds like an amazing experience! I’ve heard of Peruvian pasos and that they are wonderful horses! Thanks for the comment!
All that natural water is so nice to have, and the views are great! Congrats on your triple crown and successful year!
How did you teach her to follow you ?
Well I don’t… I leave the barn with her on the rope halter because she’ll come just fine but probably not on her own decision… then, once we’ve climbed the mountain there is a great old roadbed we cross the mountain on and by then she’s let go of the herd and barn magnets and is more connected to me, also, we both want to go the same way! If we are on the same page it’s not about teaching it’s about agreement! If we can get more moments of agreement we can build on them and stretch them a little. I hope I create an overall ‘place’ with me that is a good place. Her herd is almost always still a stronger draw of a safe place, but up on the mountain I will do! So she stays with me. At some point closer to the barn I is usually put the lead rope back on just in case the magnet of the herd might get too strong a pull!
What breed of horse is Khaleesi?
Sorry for the late reply! I was in and out of the Fort Valley 50 when your comment came in. She is a local bred mutt from a guy who used to do fancy papered saddlebreds. He then found his favorite horses were cross breeds of his best farm horses. I am good friends with his sister which is how I found out about her. Her daddy was a brown and white paint saddle bred X racking horse. And her mama was a gray TN Walker X Arab.
@@hopehorsemanship8185 no way! I thought she was TWH for sure. I have one and also STB at the moment. She’s beautiful and I love watching your rides. Thanks for the videos.
@@francymarvel695 that makes me very happy you enjoy them!! She is pretty special!
WOW! Congrats!
Thank you!! It was a huge thing for us to get through and excited about what is to come next :)
We had a great journey that day! Awesome vlog! - Tim

I love this video! The videos, hope horsemanship shirts, you and Khaleesi are great!!
Awww!! Thanks for the encouragement! Love ya back!
This was amazing to watch! You are so awesome with them! ♥️ I see similarities with this and how God will meet his own where they are at, if we let him and even if we don’t He is always there waiting.
Yes I wondered if that would be as apparent to others as it was to me!
Loved it!
Hi! Have you used the Performance N/G?
I have not, I've heard others who really like them, I thought they don't have much metal through the shoe. I might need to check them out though as the full heart bar flex won't be made anymore!
So how is this working? Have horses learned to come get yet?
It is going great! Yes, they come to the drive through window- I'll try to get some update video and post it! Thanks for asking! Is it something you've considered trying?
