    Don't know if you're in to receiving correction, but you took the 120 years out of context. For one thing, it was a pre flood statement when Noah himself lived to be 600 plus years. Most scholars believe that it was in essence the timeline given for the completion of the ark. Mankind was given 120 years to heed the warning that Noah preached. Man's life time is found in Psalms 90: 10 stating that our lifespan will be 70 yrs or if by reason of strength 80. Today research has focused on the degeneration of our stem cells, the ones that help to rebuild muscle mass via exercise. At 70 yrs the stem cell repository is 30% of what a person in their 20s have. At 80 the shrinkage is quite variable, depending on their previous life style. Most of the individuals who live into their 90s or even reach 100 are according to those who have to care for them, existing rather than living. Just don't want you to be disappointed in Yah's word when you reach the Ps. 90 limit because of a misconception of another time line. Would like to know what state you live in and which Hebrew Roots fellowship you frequent. Looking forward to seeing the maturity that your walk with Yahvasha brings to "Light." You are surly on the path of being "Salt" & "Light" in our increasingly bland and dark world. BTW, Loved that you labeled yourself as CEO of your Homestead, but couldn't help but wonder what label you give to your Husband. BTW #2 I'm in my 80s so I won't live to see the fulfillment that Yahvasha has planned for you, but I rejoice that you are under His council and know that if you remain faithful to His cause your next life resume will be glorious!

    I so admire your husband. He shared with you his thoughts on Tzitzits with you, and allowed you to flesh it out. He seems to understand the Spiritual significance of the Hebrew word "Echad" And the two shall be "One".: One in purpose with the same agenda. It does seem from this vantage point that your children will be taught "How" to think rather then "What" to think. Bravo!

    He tells us not to worship like the other nations do and that to me tells me that if it was a pagan tradition we can’t make it Christian. Kind of like making evil for good. It cannot be done. Also you should watch the Christmas conundrum by ancient path revivals.

  • @knowthymedicine
    @knowthymedicine Месяц назад

    I’m sure when Jesus said he came to bring a sword he meant, “Don’t celebrate the shift of sunlight with your fellow human kind around the world, absolutely not, at a time when the whole world takes a breath together, don’t you dare find unity with the World for a day. Take a stand against such debauchery!” Does this take on Christmas allow for nuance? Not everyone celebrates with: Santa / gifts / holly / trees / Jesus / And if they do, do they all WORSHIP these things? “Solstice worship has happened on December 25th since the iron ages” is inaccurate. (So I wouldn’t die on that hill just yet.) However, worship happening on Solstice…since time immemorial…is accurate. Solstice is a sun cycle. Not a date. The (December) Solstice falls on the longest night / shortest day in the Northern hemisphere and longest day / shortest night in the Southern hemisphere (usually around the 21st but depends on the sun cycle in any given year). And again, not just all “Pagan” cultures celebrate this time, but all cultures in general! Because the Light is shifting. Speaking of which, you keep referring to Solstice as if it’s strictly pagan, but we know (from the data) that traditional cultures the world over have some sort of ritual / celebration / ceremony or acknowledgement of the shift of sunlight…not just pagans. Examples: Soyal (Hopi), Dongzhi (Chinese), Yalda (Persian), Saturnalia (ancient Roman), Toji (Japanese), Inti Raymi (Incan), etc etc. Regarding your Luke scripture: Torah required daily sacrifice of sheep at all times of the year and prohibited them being raised in Jerusalem (so they would’ve been in the high country of Bethlehem). As for the census, here’s the problem with that: bam.sites.uiowa.edu/faq/can-you-explain-problem-census-gospel-luke Question: why is the Jesus myth the true myth? P.S. in answer to your question did anyone in Scripture celebrate Jesus birth? Yes. The astrologers. And they had some pretty major gifts to celebrate.

    We did away with Christmas for about 20 years. We never did Satan Clause (I do know there was a real Saint Nicolas that he is based on), yule log, or a few other traditions. Christmas was Christianized from Saturnalia, which celebrated the winter solstice, but kept many of the pagan traditions from thousands of years ago to the present. It was meant as a replacement to give the new believers in Europe and wherever else it was celebrated a substitute to what they had celebrated. Again, they kept so many of their pagan traditions and just changed the name to a Christian one. If you just want to celebrate Jesus's birthday, even if it's not the right day, and keep the pagan traditions out of it, I have no problem with it. I remember a year or two we just set up the Nativity scene and had the wise men in the East for a few days. Then we had a birthday cake for Jesus.

    I think you would be surprised about how much the brit hachadasha (New Testament) agrees with Judaism. Torah actually has a paradox in it, that is resolved if the brit hachadasha is true. During a reading of the 48th Torah Portion Shoftim Judges - שׁוֹפְטִים I read a article in TheTorah by Dr.Jonathan Stökl of King's College London titled [Can There Be Another Prophet Like Moses?] that showed why a Prophet like unto Moses was impossible. By Torah standards. For there to be a Prophet like unto Moses, he must make a new covenant with Israel, but if he does he violates Torah and by Torah he must be put to death. The only way he would prove to be the Moses like Prophet, is if after being legally executed, he is resurrected by Elohim of Torah.

    Hi Kinsey, Sandi Nizzoli, Cheryl’s sister (and the Hick’s Auntie) over here. 👋. I was deeply immersed in a similar (if not the same) religion you’re now a part of for almost 40 years and have since deconstructed. I speak the language of this religion fluently to this day. I love your authenticity and genuineness. So glad you care so deeply about being who you need to be for yourself! I am confident that your heart and attitude will take you exactly where you need to be in life for that precious little family! I know that when I was your age, I would not have listened to someone from outside of my religion, sharing something to convince me otherwise, so I’m guessing you won’t either…but I also don’t want to project who I was at your age onto you. In the meantime, maybe I’ll pose some questions (for you to answer to yourself, not in comments 😅) that may help to think about the extent of what you say you believe: 1. If you believe in following the Torah, why are you choosing which parts you’ll follow but not following all of them? Examples include punishment by stoning, restrictions (discrimination) of non Hebrew / Israelite people, dirty water given to adulterous women, putting kids to death who curse their parents, etc I remember when I was deep in the religion, we found ways to justify away no longer needing these laws, while holding to the ones that were “easier” (like food laws, animal and land husbandry laws, feasts and sabbaths). 2. If Jesus (we called him Yah-shua, but we were always fighting over the correct pronunciation, I’ve never heard Ye-hush-uah)…if He overcame the curse of Adam, what was that curse exactly? And was it just Adam who received the curse? Or all of humankind? Because if all of Humankind was cursed with Adam’s curse, then that same demographic is redeemed through Christ, right? Lastly, one of the most significant teachings my mentor shared with me when I was still deep in this religion was that if my religion is “God’s truth”, then I should be able to take a hammer to it and pound it with all the questioning I can and it will remain in-tact and unwavering. With that, I pose the possibility of looking at your views with humility from a Birds Eye view and being open to perspective. Here are some resources to do just that, if you are open to it. Here they are, if you’re open to them. ruclips.net/user/liveA-nM3-QE2V4?si=ztkRIWGAN0OUL1Ok Francesca Stavrakopoulou, PhD in Theology MythVision Podcast Blessings to you in your journey! Love seeing where you are in life. ❤ Oh, one more thing, I celebrate Solstice now. Some people call it Pagan because, well, Pagans celebrate Solstice, too. But really it’s just science…the Light coming back to us, quite literally, as the sun stays with us longer from mid December through mid June. But I think it’s fun to celebrate a season that most of the rest of the world celebrates in one way or another with all different religions, as you are celebrating Hanukkah. It brings us together as a species, in quite a beautiful way. 😊

      Comment section context - I'm taking the time to address and respond to this comment because this is actually someone I know in real life. Future videos will inherently address different topics people pose in my comment section, but I will not be responding at length to all comments that assert something in opposition to what I believe. As I stated in my video, I'm sharing MY beliefs, not getting into a debate with random people on the internet in my comment section. With that context, let's get to the reply. Hey Sandi, Thank you for your patience in my reply, there was certainly an abundance of information to go through here, hence my delay. I so appreciate your cadence in approaching this conversation with kindness, and genuine care about my family and our path🥰 Starting from the end, and working my way backwards- I do agree with you on if you're searching the Truth, it should be able to withstand questioning while remaining unwavering. I listened to the whole video you sent, and there were several aspects about Dr. Francesca I actually quite liked. While I don't agree with her interpretation about ancient Israel and Hebraic Texts, I did find her clear acknowledgment of her own biases quite refreshing. As she clearly stated towards the end, there is no actual proof for the interpretation of the text and the assertion that her way of looking at the biblical corpus is in fact the correct way. It is a possibility that the ancient Israeli's practiced in a way not concordant with how most scholars and linguists assert, proof however, one way or another for texts that old is impossible to cement. She provides a clear point of view that is different than traditional interpretation, which compels interesting theory (some of which already fits within my current paradigm), but nonetheless, leaves my stance remaining unwavering. Addressing the curse of Adam, I don't think anything you stated there I would be in disagreement with. Adam sinned, therefore his heavenly body did indeed perish, and he inherited a mortal body that eventually died. This we all inherited from him. But as you said, if all of humankind inherits Adams curse, and Yehusha overcomes *eternal* death, will we all be restored to our heavily bodies at some point? I believe it's a free gift offered to all of humankind, but one has to accept the gift given. And lastly addressing the point on picking and choosing which parts of Torah to obey, and justifying away the portions we would rather not follow: I think this leads with a pretty heavy assertion that should the Original Testament judicial system be enacted in our modern day, that's something I would oppose. As far as stoning is concerned, it was commanded in certain contexts in the Original Testament as a form of capital punishment for specific sins or offenses. I'm in agreement that it was used in ancient Israel as part of the judicial system outlined in the Mosaic Law. The offenses punishable by stoning generally involved severe violations of the covenant with God or actions that were seen as corrupting the community. This is why there was such an emphasis on the Seriousness of Sin, Legal Safeguards, and Community Responsibility. In many cases in the Original Testament, the wronged party had discretion in determining whether to follow through with judicial punishment. While the Mosaic Law provided clear legal and moral standards, it also included instances where the aggrieved party could choose an alternative course of action, particularly in situations involving personal harm or financial disputes. I'm inclined to say for Yah's people, this being a community you would opt into, (it was not the law of the entirety of the world), opting into Yah's people came with a specific set of standards, of which I don't oppose. I hope that provided some clarification on my stances. This is why I'm hesitant to even say I align with a specific definition of a religion, as all labels come with baggage, and pre-conceived ideas of what the party already believes. I hope you and yours are well, and prosperous. Much love💜

    ☺️ we also are careful to not want a replacement for Christmas…that would be confusing to our children and to our extended family. So we rather acknowledge the celebration and read some of Maccabees to remind ourselves of the historical context of the time which greatly affected the time that Yeshua was born into. …and a great excuse to make home made donuts and latkes, Yum! We also usually discuss as a family what it means to dedicate our bodily temple to the YHVH.

      @candieland4276 I got it on Amazon, it doesn't look like the exact one is available anymore, but the general pattern description is: William Morris Lion. Good luck! 🥰

    St. Hippolytus of Rome (c. 170-c. 240) stated in his commentary on Daniel that Jesus was born on December 25, and he wrote around a century and a half before Sol Invictus which wasn’t even an official Roman cult until 274. Do you have a temple to celebrate the Hebraic festivals? I love the books of Maccabees which the Catholic Church has always retained...

      I'm currently deep in the boughs of research on this, I'm planning my next video to be on this topic, but there's SO MUCH data to sort through. I will be going all the way back as far as manuscripts allow. Bc while that is technically true, I think there's a lot more context. 😁

    Thank you. I believe similar to you. This is my first year not celebrating Christmas and i also did not want to pick up Hanuka as a replacement reason to give gifts. I was led to buy a menorah but confused how to use it for Hanuka since there is a difference in the number of candles. Thank you for sharing and praise Yah for leading me to this video to provide direction and understanding.

    Hi wasn't sure this would work but just another part of the puzzle I'm heading towards 65 and been trying to untangle this rope that needs to be clearer... very Good young one. SAUL who Became Paul teaches about the new Covenant which the Law brought into being, after Yeshua shed the atonement Blood for our sins. Worth investigating it is an Awesome Revelation. Seek Protection and fulfillment of God's Holy Spirit may you be safe in your journey 🙏
