I'm going to say yes. If you told someone that they were making a Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario crossover 10 years ago, people would have been hyped. Now, people think it was one of the biggest missed opportunities from both series. If they were to do it again, and make it a proper crossover, by implementing characters and mechanics from both series. It would definitely get people talking.

I had a love/hate relationship with this game. Played around 30 hours at release and dropped it. Came back about a year ago and finished it. It's so grindy and padded but I enjoyed it for what it was. In my opinion the battle system with the 3d is very fun.
