For running datarhei Core and datarhei Restreamer, no additional hardware is required beyond the RPi. However, you will need a video source - a camera, an encoder, a complete video setup, or even a network connection. Hope this clarifies your query!

Hi there! Thank you for your comment. I can assure you that the latency generated by SRT is not as high as you mentioned. In fact, it is only 0.3 ms. The latency you're experiencing might be generated by other tools that you're using, and it's possible that you have chosen the wrong settings. I suggest taking a closer look at the settings to see if there's anything that can be adjusted. Also, if you're interested in using HLS, it's possible to achieve a latency of about 5 seconds. If you need any help with the settings, you can open a ticket on GitHub and someone will be happy to assist you.
