Title: Peak Current Mode Control of Buck Converter
Description: The Current Mode Control is based on controlling the output voltage of the DC/DC converter through the control of the inductance maximum peak current.
There are some commercial PWM IC such as the UC1842 that implement this type of control.
Solution: In SmartCtrl, the Peak Current Mode Control is in the predefined topologies, which facilitates the design of the control loop. On the other hand, thanks to the solution map SmartCtrl allows the user to design the most efficient control loop.
Results: Export the designed control to PSIM and check its functionality.
