_Speed is nothing without control,_ as the old Pirelli tyres advert so often told us!! Those lessons from bygone days came home to roost at Lutsen International this time! Only a single DNF across 36 car-laps but when havoc struck, it rang a knell of eventual doom for team Feral MODS 😢 My condolences, the Renault RS-01 is a proven contender here and no one can deny that. Two German Mustangs but no shenanigans on the track from them, with Polo Racing's BMW advancing, well done! _KOOTS,_ there's a name to be said with your full chest, congrats on pushing through to the next round! Wonderful racing as always! And kudos to all the builders on their cars. The paint/decal schemes are serious eye candy! One favor: I timed the scorecard appearance at approx 7 seconds. Could you leave it up for 10+ seconds?

Competitive group! There were some fast builders eliminated in this round.

Exemplary production values as always, coupled with a lovely field of racers who brought their A Game in the paint & decal work and in the choice of casting! The Corvette C8R despite the overall length appears to navigate the Hairpin well thanks in part to how slim it is compared to any street version available. Wild and unexpected wheel decisions by builders, including GHO and [checks notes] MBX Laser wheels that were last produced in _1988,_ talk about kicking it *old school!* Glad to see the updated Porsche 935 run here at last in modified racing, we saw it handle the previous incarnation of Lutsen International decently, and despite Ironbeard not quite advancing, he did great in my book! That the Lambo Veneno pushed through to the Semifinals, all the kudos!! I love that car especially when a racer gets all the juice from the squeeze in an event. Way to get some redemption for the legendary Gab Formoso there
