Sir, should I average the unit weight of soil below the footing for the third term of bearing capacity equation in the last three problems? You have averaged the angle of internal friction as well as cohesion but you haven't talk about the unit weight of soil as there are different soils having different properties below the footing, so I become little bit confused about it. I will be grateful if you clear this confusion sir.

Hansen Method is called extended Meyerhof method of determining bearing capacity. I found slight difference between Meyerhof and Hansen method. Should we go conservative side? Or, what else can we do?
