@@spatial_monkey Do you know if it's possible to specify a string and then select it from a drop-down menu? i want the user to choose a direction and instead of typing "North" he should be able to select "North, South, East or West" from a drop down menu within the Toolbox as parameter is this possible?
i figured it out. it is possible with the Filter option in the tool properties :)

Set VS Code as your default .py editor. so when you click 'Edit code' in arcgis pro, it opens VS Code
