I watched on line as my granddaughter was isn the children's choir. When the offering was started and the idea of coins I recall a friend whose father was the pastor of their church. He told me sometimes people who needed the time in church but had little money and often they put buttons in the basket because they were embarrassed that they had no money. This opportunity to use coins may help those who have little to come to church FOR church. Thank you for your pastorate. I always enjoy your sermons .

I thank the heavenly father for the gift of his son that paid the price for our sins, by this act of his death for us, he has overcome the world, and cleared the path for us to go to the throne of the father to seek forgivness for our shortcomings he has defeated Satan, this morning I woke up which in itself is a blessing, and for a while forgot what day this is, I got my memory revived and I am here to ask forgiveness for my sins and to stay with me. Thank you father for paying the price for my sinful nature, yes I am a sinner I ask for mercy my father. This is not about candy, chocolate bunnies or hardboiled eggs, it is about the death and rising from that death to set us free. Just thanking him is not enough I seek to follow Christ, obey his laws and grow and mature in his word, so I publicly acknowledge him as the true lord and savior and want his love I surrender to him, I pray this in the name of the lord Jesus Christ that his will be done... Amen

My heart goes out to the Barozzie family on the loss of Michael. He was a great man and will be miss greatly. 😢

I don't think the Bible is racist because the concept of race is a more modern concept. The ANE was a much smaller world that it is now. Not like there were a lot of white, hispanic, asian or black people were walking around Jerusalem when the OT was written. It was really kind of more tribal at the time. But when it comes to slavery? The Bible definitely condones the practice. It may not be race based, but it was definitely "nation" based. I mean the actual chattel slaves allowed in the Bible had to come from "other nations" after all. And this is my issue. Slavery. Not race based, but actual chattel slavery. Condoned by the Bible, but never once condemned. My question is why? It just seems wrong to me.
