A beautiful, relaxing hike in the serene Paiko mountain. The hike took place at the end of winter of 2021 . Paiko mt is a rather mellow,forested mountain about an hours drive from the city of Thessaloniki. We started our route from the beautiful Skra waterfalls and ended up at the Valeorvo camping site. Strogoula Peak (2112 metres) - 21km hike - North west Tzoumerka - Greece

This spectacular hike includes a steep ascent of roughly 1000 vertical metres straight to Strogoula peak, followed by a long ridge-line ride with astonishing views. Nice video! Is it also possible to go back down to the refuge after reaching the strougola peak or is it too steep?
Thanks Steven. No,its not too steep to descend back the same way , although you need to exercise caution. Actually it may even be easier than the route we followed.
