I have a homework for the 2nd order high-pass butterworth filter and it says that the filter's passband is 1 rad/sec. Where do I use this value while denormalizing transfer function? Also in your some equations, I see 'f' symbol, what is this 'f'? frequency of the voltage source or something? Thanks for your attention.
We know angular frequency w(omega)=2πf. So f=w/2π . Using this equation we can convert the angular frequency ( in rad/sec) to frequency f in hertz. Then, a HPF passes all the frequencies that comes after its lower cut off frequency . So its pass band is actually from lower cut off frequency to infinity.
