June 6: Jason finally replied at 12:30 pm, saying they were out of size L t-shirts, so the shirts had not been printed! Despite our efforts to arrange a late pick-up, including a family offering to stay late and pick up the shirts on their way to the States, Jason remained unresponsive. He finally responded at 2:41 pm, but by then, the family had to turn around from Hamilton to pick up the order. When we requested an employee stay until we inspected the order, Jason sent photos of the shirts, revealing the color was entirely different from what was shown online. The team felt deceived-the shirts were clearly printed last minute, did not match the description, and the communication was terrible. We decided not to pick up the order. Everyone was very disappointed. We were supposed to wear new team shirts to represent Ontario, Canada, at an international competition with over 100 teams, but this company failed us. They were unethical, lied about order readiness, and did not apologize. Jason claimed to be helping, but it was a poor experience with no accountability. Very disappointing.     I have been a loyal customer of T-Shirt Elephant for over 5 years, and had a great working relationship with all of the previous accounts reps I have worked with. I was recently assigned a new account rep, Jason Sterling, who has been extremely unsatisfactory. Several issues arose during our transactions. The initial order, placed for my clothing brand with full upfront payment, was not completed as expected. There were missing pieces and a lot of the order had ink stains on the items. For this order we had also not received any proofs prior to printing for approval, which was not following our usual process. The second order was for a client of ours and there was 5 pieces that were out of stock and Despite assurances from Jason that screens would be retained for out-of-stock items, no progress was made in six weeks. This resulted in unfulfilled commitments and a frustrating delay. My final order was for 60 items to be completed prior to the Christmas season for another customer, and after receiving the quote, I dropped off the order, and then there was a communication breakdown by Jason for 4 weeks. Jason finally informs me that he has a larger order and will not be completing my order, after weeks of no communication and not allowing me to make alternate arrangements. To exacerbate matters, he then doesn’t offer me any fair compensation and then threatens to get the authorities involved and then tried to physically remove me from the premise. As a Black business owner, I never anticipated encountering such blatant discrimination in the year 2023. Jason consistently addressed me as "Dude" in a blatantly disrespectful manner, coupled with unwarranted physical pushes and threats to involve the police while I attempted to calmly discuss my order.

    I'm a seller on Etsy and using the Gildan 6400 and two of the white Gildan tees ripped at the collar on my first wear, that's pretty bad! I love the soft feel and lightness of the Gildan 6400 but I can't continue to use Gildan 6400 if it rips that easily from the get go. I just don't want to deal with customer complaints. Is anyone else getting this rip problem with the white color Gildan 6400 at the collar?

    Are these true to size like the heavy cotton style and not the Gildan soft style cotton which is rather on the short side, so I end up buying the next size up, as Hayes heavy cotton and fruit of the loom are true to size.

    The Gildan 2000 is heavier than the 5000. The 2000 weighs from 6oz & the 5000 weighs from 5.5oz. Get your facts right please.

    I just got a Gildan 5000 shirt. It was so thin. The grey heather was unbelievably rough. The white was smoother but still rough compared to my other shirts.

      Their okay, the 5000 model seems to be very cool for winter since its warm and thick. the softstyle would be what i would go for in the summer

    I really loved this video. I'll be buying a few sample shirts from Gildan and for 3 reasons. They have many great styles, I sincerely believe Gildan is underrated, and I will need them for large scale printing. In addition, I do have the Gildan for men 64000. In my opinion, this shirt is a beast and underrated. Ok, that's my opinion, but with samples so cheap, I'd grab one (as well as a few others) and check them out.

    You were right; it is boxy still. I just got one. It also came with a sticker on it that says "please wash me". It is really stiff and rough fabric. I hope it gets softer when I wash it.

      That seems so disappointing. They said it has a semi fit. Anyway, I am going to buy one (and a few other samples) and see if they improved upon where you saw faults. I fell in love with the idea of them because I happen to have the men's 64000 Softstyle. To me, it was really soft, and it really complimented my body. I'm gonna see how they fit on women. My guess is, a female will have to size down. Hope you found something that works for you. Oh. and I can't believe the shirt had a sticker that stated, "please wash me." OMG. Let's hope they changed that.

    you ever reviewed the ascolour 5001 vs the cotton heritage 1082? Those would be a good review for dtg printing. i get good results with the 1082 but i have yet to try the 5001.

    Thank you for the review. New subscriber here! Can you do a wash test review for both the 64000 and 64000L?? That would be extremely helpful. I'm trying to decide between the 64000 and the Bella Canvas 3001. BC is great but starts breaking down after about 4/5 washes.
