We went this month with family including two children less than 5 years. I thought the trip would be challenging after looking few such videos but it was a decent experience. I will just put my points. 1) Travel agency was nice 2) Accomodation was average but had no major issues 3) Places and points are obviously very scenic and absolutely worth going. 4) People at tourist places did want to sell their services but not too much bothersome and would leave if politely refused. 5) We had two Cab drivers and one in Pahalgam from their taxi union - all were genuine and nice. No problem. If someone is wanting to visit, go positively and enjoy the nature and the people.

Quite unfortunately those all people loot tourists,who have no prior knowledge of.would suggest to have some Kashmiri friend or known one to accompany you to travel here.Reality is 95% of Kashmir still remains unexplored.Those packages are just for few 2-3 known places

I dont know how you got scammed for the pahalgam hotel. Once you book the package the hotel confirmation is given in well advance. They cant change the hotel 😬😬

ekdum 100% sahi baat hai.....Kashmir bekar hai....full loot chal rahi hai.... jab tk aapke jeb me paise tb tk sir pr bitha k rakhenge...jaise hi paise lootana band kroge waise hi natak shuru hojaenge. Kashmir is full of scammers.

Shup your mouth, please. Heaven forbid. Don't hold the drivers responsible for your poor trip experience; they are the hardworking employees of travel companies. They also have their families ."As you sow , so shall you reap".😡

Mujhe smj nhi araha 1 lakh kae pakage mae apko ache hotel kaise nhi mile mae 4 night 5 day ka pakage 42000 for couple deta hu aus mae badhiya hotel hute hae apka smj nhi araha hae yeah konse aise travel kae throgh ap aye jinhu ne apko aise service provide ki hotels may change but of similar category

Yarana holidays, pluto.. All these tour operators are frauds.. May be all are same in different named.. We got similar experience with yarana holidays... All third rate hotels...

I had a very bad experience

100% agree with you..I went to Kashmir last December and had the worst experience ever..Scammers everywhere just trying to loot tourists..I had been to 32 countries but never had such bad experience specially with taxi drivers..I will never recommend anybody to go Kashmir because of this(But on the contrary Kashmir is very beautiful)

As a resident I am sorry for this however there are few things i would like to say. • You have booked from an Agency "Gyan Rachna Tour & Travel" which is based in UP and most probably they themselves would have hardly visited here , so the istruction sent by them will be followed by hotel and by driver as well, so there is no mistake of driver and hotel as they would have been informed and paid as per the agencies instructions. • All these things revolve around 1 thing is that Agency was not good. Like you had checked your hotel you had to check the reputation and previous expereinces of people who had went with them. Today with Google reviews and TripAdvisor everything is clear and undeleteable. And write reviews for them for their future travellers. DeFame them not Kashmir. Make the Thumbnail for Gyan rachna instead saying BAD KASHMIR , Tourist problem etc • If your AGENCY was NOT good instead of mentoining KASHMIR SCAM , THEY SCAM , TOURISIM RUINED ,mention the names of them,We have had 2 crore tourist visits last year , and if it was such bad a place to visit then there would have been a lot lot more instances than these seculuded ones. • And often people choose the lowest priced packages which eventually result in these things.

Mai kashmir gulmarg se belong krta hu Aap k saath jo bhi huaa, sab travel agency ki galati hai Aap phle hi din complain kr deti, akal thikaane aati unki Aapko chup nhi rehna tha Sab ko ek jaisi soch nhi hoti didi

Mera bhi GANDA expereice tha ...Kashmiri log kewal lootne ke liye bethe hai.... . mere saath sonmerg me kuch ladke peeche pad gaye ...bole ki hamari gaadi karo 10 points dikhayenge....hamari gaadi lo 10,000 me....hum bole nahi....plz nahi...nahi karna... 30 minutes tak peecha nahi choda ....force karne ke baad nahi liye to ladai suru karne lage ...jabki me family ke saath tha...shit ...shit people...... In the northeast or Ladakh....I visited...koi scam nahi hua....but Kasmir is full loot....
