I like to think that the character was just a random guy listening to music while trying to escape that didn't realize there was a monster in the ship until after doing a lot of stuff

Bro, I collect all the newspaper except other pages and there was not newspaper in first level, I saved the game multiple times and exit, but still got the bad ending, i collect the optional object too. I loved this game as a kid but I never beat it. I think the furthest I got was crystal tower and then losing to the final boss. You beating the game in only around 4 hours is crazy to me. I really should give the game another go and finally beat it.

Ok confirmed! Cecil with a critical attack on a whichever jelly and kills it will get rainbow pudding. I had been hunting 1 on the moon and got no luck till I see AmanSensei's comment decide to try, coinsidently Cecil did get a critical shot on Mouese and get a rainbow pudding yeah!

So if I understand correctly. First in the settings, set it to Memorize. Then put the two items I want to duplicate at the top left and top right of the item list. Next get into a battle, go into items with my first character, hover over the item I want to duplicate, select and use that item with my first character to have the game memorize the item I want to duplicate, then press the B button to go back to my first character, after that go back into the item list and press Up and A at the same time. If I see the equipment screen for my R. Hand and L. hand and No buzz noise happens then the trick was preformed correctly. Now press the B button and turn auto battle on and off quickly, then press the B button to go back to my first character and repeat as much as I want?

Hello guys I want to share a little thing I found while finding the pudding, I put everyone on defend and cecil on attacking but whenever cecil attacked the four flans on different time gaps (critical shots vs normal shots have different animation times) I didnt get those but the moment cecil attacked alone with normal attacks I got the pudding, now to confirm this I went again, but maybe we can't get 2 of those, so you guys could try, good luck!

Nice to know people are still playing this game every now and then. It's kinda sad seeing how little success this had compared to the first game despite being superior in almost every way. I think it would've had more success if it wasn't as dark as it is and if the later nights' dungeon was less annoying to look at (the fire effect gets quite annoying after a while)
