I remember watching this live. After her performance, Conan comes out & says something like “That was fantastic!!! Well done!!! 🤯 As he shakes her hand. He looked totally blown away by her performance! His reaction was exactly how I felt when I was watching it. I only wish this clip had included that part! 💕

This is one of the greatest performances in the history of late night television. Period. One person. Alone on stage. With one instrument. Performing one song. No net, no backing band, no drum machine, no TelePrompTer. That's solid in and of itself. But almost forgotten among the power of the performance itself, is the brilliant director who chose to film this in one continuous, uninterrupted shot. That small detail is the crux of the emotion in this video. I'm a 40 year old guy and know nothing of this young lady's career or level of celebrity. But this is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Bravo.

Geez... I was just remembering when I watched this years ago. I thought how she was such a talent, but that it was too bad about all the tattoos or she might have had a chance to be famous. And now that she is still around, I learned a book can't be judged by it's cover. Talent is talent.
