Chapter 25: Surah Al furqan ( The Criterion )
About Surah Al-Furqan:
Surah Al-Furqan (in Arabic text: الفرقان) is the 25th chapter of the Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Criterion” and it consists of 77 verses.
Surah Furqan addresses some objections of the non-believers who reject the message of Qur’an and Islam. The appropriate answers to each and every objection has been given and the people have been warned of the consequences of rejecting the Truth.
This Surah has 77 ayaat and it is ‘makki’. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that a person who recites this Surah will be taken to Jannah without questioning, provided he believes in the Day of Judgement and the Raising of the Dead (from the graves).
