I do agree that the propane heater seems a better option than a diesel heater, but you can’t compare $1000 propane heater versus $100 Chinese heater. I own a planar diesel heater and a thing is a beast. Starts right up every time barely any smoke out of it and it’s never failed but it cost US$1600. With a diesel heater, you can totally control the speed of the fan and the burn temp. From what I understand you cannot do that with a propane heater. It’s either on or it’s off.

I have a 2023 Tacoma with a moonroof. Am I able to install either of the EDC or EXO on my vehicle?

Yea I was able to purchase a used one from a ram truck and it fits my F150 like a glove! The customer service team also walked me through all the details and steps so we were able to install it ourselves. Huuuggee fan of Harker!

Love my EDC on a full size Chevy. Hardly know its back there. Love the extra annex space. My wife loves the portapoti we move into the annex while camping. Harker Outdoors build an excellent and well built product. Great team to work with. 😎

Do you have any examples of a passthrough into the cabin of either truck or jeep?

my concern is bugs . How does it protect from bugs vs RTT? when you are in/out for fridge and supplies unless wait to set a tent at the end.will be nice to add netting that can be attached around camper down to floor, like even pull out fridge still close with netting behind a fridge. Netting needs to have with zipper in the middle.

I like an idea but mosquito protection ? All similar camper vs. traditional RTT has the biggest disadvantage from bugs . Look annex might a solution but than still need to get access to kitchen and fridge.

I am a GFC owner. I really like this EDC camper. You guys are doing something different and it is a really good looking product!

Coming from someone who isn't a fanboi of any camper - I can't help but question your integrity when you: 1. Make it so you can be extra dramatic by setting up the gfc panels so the small panel is at the back above the spare tire so you can make it look extra difficult to get in. 2. Include setting up a table so you can add extra time to make it look like the harker is faster. 3. Already have the cables out and attached to the side of the harker. 4. Don't setup half of the back canvas and take the time to cinch it all down. Besides all that, with no crossbar support holding the 2 sides of the camper together, I'd imagine those camper sides are somewhere between flimsy and not very strong. On a positive not, I really like your hydraulic bed platform, utilizing the tailgate as extra space, vertical sides, and the U-bar that creates the extra area inside the tent. Suggestion: get rid of the dumb circles on the top edge and incorporate double tslot for easy 270 awning mounting options. The day one of the lightweight camper manufacturers incorporate an Intrepid Geo style tent with the 80/20 floor they will win the battle of the campers.

I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the diesel heaters. Most of which I heard after I purchased mine. Mine does not smoke on, start up, and you can only see a little smoke and smell when it is shutting down. I have been very fortunate with mine running on high altitude setting.

As a GFC lover, I think it’s really cool that you did this without disparaging the GFC 🙌🏻

I run a propex that I built into an enclosure very similar to a diesel heater package and I constantly get questioned about why I didn’t go with just a simple diesel heater instead and I’m so happy I didn’t. Sooo much more efficiency and convenience with the Propex hands down. Curious, was that a cap on the intake vent port of the Propex I saw you had?! Do you usually use it that way too? Here I am running 2 vents and ducting (1 intake, 1exhaust) into my RTT because I thought I had to.

For the Ram 1500 it only lists the 5'5" bed but the new body style is a 5'7" bed. Do you offer both the EXO and EDC for the new body style?
